I just watched some of the videos from this gig (thank you everyone) and when he took his shirt off I was very concerned about how thin he looked. I am hoping it is because of this intense and long tour he has been on, but there is more to go. Feel protective of the boy. Feel a great urge to overnight him some chicken soup.🤷‍♀️

Oy, it's a change.org petition. They are obnoxious. My experience with them has been that once they have you they harass you to death. I no longer sign anything of theirs. But don't let that stop you. I am not an internet kinda gal in that way, too old and tired and curmudgeonly.🤷‍♀️

I think he's very devoted on getting excellent sound for those concerts, do they are more contained and the focus is on sound quality and recording quality. I also think the fact that they are being recorded makes the audience more contained. I recall reading a conversation about that re the concert I watched— that fans did not know how much enthusiasm they could express.

His concert hall concerts seem to be more regularly produced for official airing than his regular gigs. Much better for sound quality but not nearly as exciting or energy filled. And for some reason he never looks as beautiful in those concerts. Certainly stiffer and more contained, but his smile is not the same, his hair is combed back, and he is more separate from the audience. As far as I can recall there are only two official open air concert recordings? And three or 4 in concert halls? One of you folks probably has that info in your brains.

Oh, God, that’s about the same age as my Blakey. Mika is actually lucky with his girls—Goldens are so inbred that they have huge medical risks and frequently die young. We have a mixed breed so feel a little safer but…

OTOH, as I recently read, it’s never long enough.

Agreed!!!! This is not the first significant act of violence (multiple dead and injured) at a concert, although it is the largest and the first one by an outside state terrorist group. (Well, they’re not “state” in the literal sense—but official, not freelance). With each one I have become more and more concerned for the future.

Yeah, it would be nice to have one place to go to keep track. What I would love is for listings to be kept up to date—updates as the concert video is repeated (for tv where there is one date, then another) or will appear in a new location (country or continent), rather than just an initial posting.

Same! For any concert! In fact, mods, would it be possible to have a space to announce any official full concert recordings of Mika performing and when/where they might be streamed or viewed, across the world? (Bec what is recorded over there can take a while to get to the US). The only only reason I know about Mika was that I accidentally stumbled across a late night showing of an old concert, on a station I had never watched. Viewing alerts would be fantastic.
