YES!u can see most of the sales is contributed from the US

he at least deserves a million of record in US!

it's a super nice album:punk:

Go Mika! :punk:

If he could ever get some serious airplay in the US like the rest of these artists, these numbers would go through the roof.

I hate to say it but this album is also in the top lists of illegal downloads. About 20,000 times listed on Pirate Bay.

Makes me wonder if people are "closet" Mika fans.... :sneaky2:

I think they're just cheap.

Free downloads can be very beneficial to the artist. Generally you get two types of downloaders - ones who would never buy the music under any circumstances so it's no loss, and ones who take a listen and become fans which pays off down the road.

I was going through my library the other day and discovered copies of Grace Kelly and Relax that I never paid for back in December. But they led me to buy a ticket to Mika's show in Toronto. I pick up my concert tickets at a CD store that offers a 10% discount. I grabbed Mika's album, along with Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen since I was planning to see them too.

Right from the beginning with MySpace, Mika has been using technology to spread his music and while there are a few people out there who have simply conned themselves a free copy of LICM, the most important thing is that his music is out there and people are getting a chance to hear it.

It does make you wonder - one minute, it seems as they aren't really THAT many fans, and the next it's like, WOOOAAAH!!! He's sold how many?? LOL!!:thumb_yello:

Well Done Mika!!! You're doing great!!:thumb_yello:
