Becky Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 (hey becky, luke ran awayy, lol, but i will play along with your post) The doctor poked a needle into my skin as I watched in horror. I hated needles. "um...why are you doing this?" i asked "you might be pregnant!" said becky "no...i cant be!" i said shocked "yes you can...." laughed M nervously the doctor left promising the blood test results by tomorrow afternoon Luke ran down the stairs "where are you going?" i hollered but luke didnt answer "he is probably hungry and going to the cafe" said calvin assuringly "i hope..." i said im going back to sleep" i had the exact same dream that afternoon. luke and M with kids, laughing. they actually were sort of ugly, they looked like little rats. like you know those babies you see that have rat-ish faces? thats what they looked like. Once again, i woke up. I couldnt take this any more. "where is M?" i asked luke "she went to take a test also!" he said laughing i saw luke with a bag in his hands "what is that?" "just....a little something..." he riupped open the bag. it was stuffed with bibs, blankets, clothing and whatnot. "it is a bit creepy" i stuttered "to be honest, i dont even remember going out with you...." "that is a good thing..." aqid luke "then you wouldnt want to be my girlfriend" "why?" i asked "you seem nice enough" luke didnt answer me, he just shook his head "i cant wait for kids..." he said smiling "i can" i said rolling my eyes. i hated children the next day...... that afternoon the doctor strolled in casually with the test results "i have good news, and bad news" "i want the bad news first." i said, hoping i wasnt having a child "you arent having a kid...." luke's face turned red and sad. tears streamed down his embarassed face. he ran out of the room sobbing, as he threw the bag of clothes at M, figuring she might need them. "i didnt finish" said the doctor "you're having twins..." i almost killed myself, right then and there. i hated children. "Oh, wow!" Becky had grinned when Phunky had told them all later that day. "Two babies!" Kelzy smiled. "Congrats. Where the man of the moment?" Cosmo asked. "He did a runner when the doctor said 'you aren't having a kid'." Phunky replied, scowling. What a great father he was going to be. "So he doesn't know?" Calvin asked. Phunky shook her head. "I'll call him..." Artsy sighed. She went out to find to find a payphone, as the other speculated the idea of having 5 kids with them. "Speaking of kiddiewinks, anyone seen M since last night?" Calvin asked. The PPRs shook their heads. "Speak of the devil!" ER smiled as M and Finn made their way in. "So... What are the results?!" Lolly asked excitedly. "No, I'm not, sadly..." Finn sighed heavily, yet was slightly relieved because at least she wasn't pregnant with Luke's kid. "Ah well. We have 2 from Phunky and Luke..." ER grinned. "Oh wow! Congratulations!" M smiled excitedly. "No answer from Luke. Wonderful. I can see this not going well." Artsy said, rather annoyed with his attitude about it. Elsewhere... Luke wasn't far from the hospital. He was sitting in a park on a bench, silently crying. He;d lost pretty much everything, as far as he was concerned. The minute he saw that little light... He'd thought it'd all be okay again. "can someone go to find lukas?" i asked laughing becky silently volunteered, knowing that i wasnt in the state to be searching for my lover.... "where will i look?" asked becky "i dunno...." i answered back "there is a park right outside of the hospital..." artsy suggested "i will come wit'cha becks" the two strolled down to the park looking for lukas. it was a pretty small park afterall. "look that's him!" said becky running over to the hysterical luke "phunks is having twins, luke, twins!" luke looked up, half shocked. "you dont have to lie to me...." he sighed "see. its like this. me and phunky seemed made for eachother.....and now everything has gone wrong. i mean, maybe this is a sign...." becky cut him off "im serious luke twins!" "well good thing i know you are lying through your teeth because i only wanted one child, not two..." he laughed "um..."said artsy fidgeting "come back to the hospital room" sorry for such a short post. i have no inspiration...
