The Last Shadow Puppets is made up of Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys (left) and Miles Kane of the new band The Rascals (right). Gatagordinha
The Age of Understatement is great, it has such a unique sound, I love that rolling backbeat. Very refreshing in an age of these millions of indie bands who all sound the same yawn. Even Arctic Monkeys are sounding samey these days, maybe Alex should ditch them and just stick with Last Shadow Puppets!
*daring*to*be*different*
This sounds better than Arctic Monkeys.. Umm...noo!! I prefer the Arctic Monkeys. If you listen to the Last Shadow Puppet's album, it's more melodic and calm than the mess of the Arctic's music- but I prefer the mess to the melody.. mikasbestfriend
Hmm looks like a bit of a split opinion here. Persionaly I think I'm realy enjoying the Shadow Puppets at the moment because they are fresh new tallent but I will ALWAYS be a Arctic Monkeys fan aswell.
