The motif on it is a character created by Mika, called Gregory. He represents a part of Mika's personality. So we can assume that the jumper (or at least the motif on it) was custom made for Mika. You can find more about Gregory in the second season of Mika's Italian TV show Stasera Casa Mika from 2017.
