I love the feeling in his voice, it's so.... dark...? Michael Crawford has a better singing voice, it's more trained. Gerard Butler however has a better character voice, I would not consider is singing voice professional though. Gerard Butler is also a more handsome young man and they did make the Phantom in the film not as distorted.
