    I love that about this place, and when ppl say to me "oh your going to see Mika AGAIN" in a snidey way, I say "oh but its MORE than Mika it's his fans too who are my friends and we all have a great time together and stuff" oh I feel peace and love everywhere ( I hope I still have the ticket I was given by another generous and luvleeeee MFCer). :wub2:

    I wonder if I didn't enter the comp properly, I used 3 of my email addy's but didn't win any myself and I am NORTHERN lol pffft.

    I applied with everyone I know's details and didn't win any myself but got 8 from the other applications!!!

     

    It was hard deciding who to give them to but I think I've made good choices.

     

    Everyone just has to play nicely now and it'll be great. :thumb_yello:

    Just read it through....beautiful thread Caz.

     

    I'm so glad someone remembers to express what so many of us feel now and then as I do think it gets overlooked in the...ooooh, how sexy does he look in that pic? stuff. (Of course I am one of those peeps!!:naughty:)

     

    I've whittered on many a time about the change he's made to my life and I agree....I feel a deep need for him to know just how important he has been.

     

    I'm a lot older than you and yet I've never experienced anything like him. :wub2:

     

    I'm now past caring about the look on peoples faces when I tell them how I feel....It's like a religion and having faith in him and all that he does gives me strength to go forth in my own world and do my thing.

     

    I think the longer we are (golden!! :roftl:) vocal about this impact and the more we say it...it will get back to him in some form and being so gracious as he is I doubt he'll ever stop getting a kick out of it either.

    I'm not 50 yet but heading in that direction :shocked: (gonna hurt myself now) and I DIDN'T win any tickets and AND I live in the NORTH pah maybe they think I will be even MORE of a northern heathen than just a little bit North pfft.

    I'm so pleased that Mika will have a decent number of us to sing with him! Was really starting to worry that there would be no MFC present!

    Oh wow so many people got tickets, wonderful! :thumb_yello:

     

    Makes it even more strange that so few people won iTunes tickets from iTunes. :dunno:

     

    FD was out of town at a concert today. Maybe he'll have good news tomorrow. :biggrin2:

    Well I sent my two delayed CDs back as I bought more at Sadler's Wells and got them signed as Sandbag couldn't manage to get theires to me in time!

     

    They managed to refund one properly, including postage but the other one they refunded the postage, then £2.70 and they're "looking into" the difference of £12.30!!!

     

    They really are rubbish!

     

    Awwwwwwww ... they really are :huglove: Hope you get your money back soon - or at least by the end of the year :aah:

     

    Just got another email from them asking where the "third book" is?? :shocked:

     

    How stupid are they??!!

     

    Have just told them that there is no third book!!!!!!!!!

     

    Will keep you posted but I think you may be right with the end of the year....

    I think Freddie illustrates my point that people shouldn't have to "declare" their sexuality & that it is not a clear-cut issue. For Freddie there was a (visible to his friends) shift from "straight" to "gay" but it was never straightforward - was he genuinly straight or just confused or just experimenting? how far did he shift? If he was gay, why did he have so strong a relationship with Mary Austen that he left her the bulk of his estate? Only Freddie could say what his instincts and motivations were at any given time in his life, and even then he may not have been certain himself.

     

    Sticking simple labels on complex people is a waste of time. :thumb_yello:

    I was in panic yesterday when I found out about it:shocked:

     

    a few...less than a week.

     

    The screen was really cloudy..kind of like a hologram and the MNO button wasn't working properly....but it's like new now that it's dried completely! :biggrin2:
