So this is probably a pointless thread but I think you guys can relate. Last night I had a dream I met Mika, and it was the best dream ever (obviously). It made me realize that I really make him out in my mind to be unreal. Its weird to imagine seeing him in person, especially because I live so far from London, as many of us do. Then I realized that I'm seeing him live on March 25th, and I'm soooo excited! for those of you lucky ones who have met Mika or seen him live... is it weird?? Just curious!: :mf_lustslow:

good idea! Mika is also playing at the Coachella in Indio California, near Palm Springs on April 29, This should be great, so many amazing bands and performers in addition to Mika as well.

ya I actually did a fashion and costume design program over the summer so I have some stuff that I've made but I dunno if i wanna be stuck making lollipop costumes for all my friends! haha we might jsut improvise with similar costumes we have from other things. sdf;jkhsgu i can't wait making costumes from a pattern can be easier than it seems... do u have a pattern book? haha I'm pretty bad at it but usually when comeone helps me I get the hang of it... jsut gotta keep it simple

I don't know if I have jsut been really behind on my radio listening because I have been CONSTANTLY listening to LICM, but last night at around 11 pm I heard Mika on the radio for the first time he in LA and this was very exciting for me! A big radio station, Star 98.7 for anyone who lives around here. woohoo I love that Mika is getting more popular here.

Has anyone noticed in a decline in Mika videos, meaning interviews and things like that popping up on the web? I always love watching those cuz theyre so entertaining and hes so cute! But for about a week or so I haven't been able to find may new ones...sadddd! maybe its because hes been very busy performing... haha I should give him a bit of a break

hey and welcome! I'm also from the US and bought the cd from London because I jsut couldn't wait... haha maybe I'll buy it again when it's released here. Mika's real name is Michael Holbrook Penniman, but he's always been called Mica, and changed the spelling to Mika because people were pronouncing it wrong. haha I think I'm a bit of a loser for knowing all that. Also, I'm not sure exactly where u live but Mika is going to be playing a show in LA at the Troubador on March 25, and he is also playing at Coachella in Indio California. I only know about these cuz I'm from LA, but I'm pretty sure hes playing a few shows throughout the US in the coming monthss. anyway welcome to the Mika obsession:shocked:

i love that part because the truth is i love anything mika does! someone commented on the part in grace kelly where he frames his face. i also love the part where he sings "I could be hurtful I could be purple" and his hand is like flapping in front of his face. haha its so cute. uh oh im obsessive
