right 1st off i am sorry i should have said hello two months ago, but to be honest i got caught up in the forum and haven't looked back since. my name is eric, aka shelshead. 31 married to jaycee who is also nuts about MIKA, to tell the truth i came accross a copy of the album before its release, and yes i felt horribly guilty about this, i destroyed it and waited for the release date. when it came i was amazed i then started to spread the word of mika according to eric, and i think to date i have converted about ten people, all of whom have bought copies of the album. i have a major problem though, when i like something i want more, i want limited editions, singles, different versions from other countries and anything to do with MIKA, i have never been confirmed with OCD, but i think i may be getting it. I love music - i can listen to anything from My Chemical Romance up to Mozart, other artists i like are, Belinda (!!) seriously lads check her music out it rocks, some day she will be huge this side of the pond, Coldplay, Robbie Williams (although i think his standard is dropping), The Fray, The View, Imogen Heap, Director (The New U2, and they're from Ireland), and of course Queen (i grew up (debatable) listening to Freddie and the lads i have also had the compulsion to buy all their albums and singles on tape and cd), and many many more artists. once again i am sorry i never said hello to you all when i first found the site but i was and still am addicted to the mikafanclub forum. ps mods, feckin great site. ericdred

wow what an amazing gig last night, i have been to see a few gigs over the last 30 years, but last last nights show was electric, come again Mika you are now a legend in dublin. Robbie Who? Mika Is Now The New Pop King In Ireland! Please Admin let us know more about the band, and wow what a band - the bassist (Brill), The Keyboards Dude (Very Talented), The Drummer (Wow She Was Out-of-this-world), and the lead guitarist (Unbelievable).

if so and you have filmed him live in concert, or are going to see him live, record it and let us all see it, start a myspace page and link to the video, come on some of us can't wait to see him. i was just thinking..... Robbie Williams cracked (No Reference To The Latest News Of Him) most of the english speaking parts of the world, and emi break the bank to land him (80 million), i also wonder if universal (Mika's Record Label), have thought 'Sh!t Robbie Williams, in different languages, he sounds like him (Ring Ring Bonus Track On Album), and he also has the vocal range of freddie mercury...... we're on to a winner lads!!' i mean if mika was to release a classical album, or a swing album like robbie did (swing when you're winning = 2.21 million copies) i bet with all the countries he is capable of conquering, he would help smash all the records set to date. so my question to you: if mika was to release such an album down the line what songs would you like to see on it, and the task you have is not merely to think about your favourite songs, but to think about marketability and his voice, i have a couple of songs off the top of my head i would love to hear him do, ave maria, or a queen song called you take my breath away.

as a loyal queen fan for many years, i felt a bit guilty about something but it wasn't listening to the new freddie mercury, it was walking by the new queen album with your man rogers as the lead singer. I have bought every queen album, vinyl, cassette, mini disc and cd, this is the only album i have never bought. now if mika was to line out with queen....wow, i am sure the sales of that cd would be massive. Mika, you are a little legend (as some people say in these parts), never stop been yourself, get inspiration from who ever it takes for you keep in this shark infested industry. also my wife and i cant wait to see you in spirit in dublin in march, i am looking forward to your concert more than i did robbie williams when he played dublin in the summer, i am a huge fan of his but i feel his music has gone very stale. so to answer the question on the first post, i dont feel guilty about liking mikas music, i am delighted that for once i can listen to a new artist and think its like listening to queen again, (with Freddie of course). ramble over. eric.
