  1. Did anyone watch Saturday Night Live last night? I only saw the opening segment, and I don't think I've laughed that hard at an SNL skit in a loooonnnnggg time.

It was Amy Poehler dressed up as Hilary and then they had Tina Fay as Sarah Palin. :naughty: She looked so much like her. When I first glanced, I really thought it was Palin. Anyway, it was really funny.

  2. it's not just you!!! i was talking about him, and i called him robby, and my friend was like "so...you know he can be called bob too?" and i started freaking out! i refuse to call him that! my uncle's name is bob!

today, i just got that bobby in bobby dupea could also just be short for rob. :naughty:

I'm glad that I'm not the only one!

  3. i hope that's what it is :blush-anim-cl:

i love that on his person page it say "bobby is living in a rainbow of chaos"

Okay, so this may sound stupid, especially since I don't even know him, and I know his name is Robert (obviously) and all and that can be 'Rob', 'Bob', 'Bobby', etc. but to me he's Rob and Bob sounds weird 'cause it's my dad's name. Is that dumb?

  4. rob was asked about the russell brand interuption..

on the drunk scale, he's a 10. :naughty:

I was wondering when someone would ask him about that. :naughty: I'd say he's pretty drunk. Anyway that's what I figured he'd say. I say as long as he didn't care, then why should anyone else? However, I must admit every time I watch it, I start to laugh so hard. Don't know why. It just cracks me up. I can't believe some people are/were really that mad. He got out, "Please wel-" and all we missed was, "-come Paramore."

Edit: This girl is hilarious. She gets so mad about things. She also has a video where she defends Breaking Dawn.

Chelsea's pretty now. She used to be a dog when she was a kid, but whatever.

AND ANOTHER THING: Why is everyone so down on Bill?! I'd have slept with him.

Oh wow. That couldn't have been a mistake.

Oh and shame on you, Sarie, for posting naughty pictures on this forum. :mf_rosetinted:

And I'm so glad you said that about Bill. I've always had a crush on him and everyone, except for one girl, I've said that to says, "Oh gross!"

  6. Oh, definitely. That's obviously the only reason he chose Palin: she has a vagina.

I think it's sort of a blessing in disguise, in a way. I'm really starting to like her and her opinions. I think she has good ideas and seems very capable.

I know. I don't like Barack, but if someone started making fun of his kids, that'd just be low.

Remember when Kerry's daughter showed up at that film premiere or whatever with her nips sticking through her shirt?

    No, I don't.

However, the Bush girls are sorta exceptions to the rule. They're old enough to know what to do/what not to do. I'm probably just saying that because I think the whole Bush family sucks.

  7. Being Dutch, American elections always surprise me in the sense that it seems to be more about attacking the other party than actually saying what they plan to do for the country.

The media is just all over it, so you never know what's true and what's not anyway.

Even at the conventions, both parties just bashed the other party. Not being biased, but I thought Barack was the best at sticking to saying what he was going to do, though he did include plenty of jabs at McCain and the Republicans.

  8. I'm not voting because:

I don't like either of them.

But if I had to choose, I'd vote for McCain. Mostly because I like Palin, and Huckabee's voting for McCain. That may seem like a dumb reason, but I'm a Huckagirl, so y'know.

Plus, I like the Palin voted to give herself a pay decrease.

OH, and did you hear what McCain said about Chelsea Clinton years ago?

"You know why Chelsea Clinton is so ugly, don't you? Janet Reno's her father."

    Ouchhh.

It's not so much that I don't like Palin. I don't know much about her, though I did really like her speech at the convention. I just don't like the circumstances under which McCain picked her. He didn't pick her because he thought she was the best candidate. He picked her, I believe, in large part because she's a woman (to further prove he's about change and it would seem hypocritical if it was another old white guy) and because he thinks that she'll help him win. That's it. I'm just wondering how much she'd actually get to do if they are elected into the White House.

And I get what you mean about Huckabee. My whole family likes Barack but they wouldn't have minded if Huckabee would have gotten it.

I always felt so bad for Chelsea Clinton when people made fun of her. I think the children should be off limits because it's not like they can help who their parents are.

I remember reading that Amy Carter was heavily criticized for bringing a book to one of the dinners because she wasn't showing proper respect. She was like 9, give her a break. At least she was reading.

Oh and I think Chelsea is actually quite pretty now.

  9. There's a phrase "You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig."

Meaning you can change the way something looks slightly, but it doesn't change the truth.

Palin made the comment the other night "You know the difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? Lipstick."

(She's a hockey mom, and she meant she's tough)

Barack made the lipstick-on-a-pig quote, and now republicans are saying it was a deliberate attack on Sarah Palin.

Even though McCain used the same quote seemingly referring to Hilary awhile ago.

In the same thought, Barack also said that "You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink after 8 years." So was he calling John McCain a stinky fish and calling Palin a pig then? Please. I hope people don't believe that crap.

I just hate that the Republicans are able to get the Americans riled up about such comments, and I think Barack should be more careful though I know sometimes, it doesn't really matter what he says because that's politics. Also, I am wondering why no one is allowed to say anything bad about Palin. It seems like everyone gets uptight about it. Why? No one cares if someone says something about Hilary, or Obama, or McCain, or Biden. Why should Palin be any different?

Actually I'd rather everyone just run a clean campaign and tell me what you're going to do for the country instead of analyzing every single word the opponent uses.

  10. Did anyone see this? I thought it was interesting.

    http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2008/09/09/2360240.htm?section=world

Obviously America gets the last say but I really, really wish Barack wins, and I think it's important that America starts getting a better image. If we didn't have such a bad image then we wouldn't even be in Iraq right now and September 11 wouldn't have happened.

Thinking bad on how many people I heard complain about Bush for the first four years. Then they reelect him. Then they complained about Bush for the second four years. Now when I believe we have a good Democratic candidate to change things, people are starting to lean toward McCain, mostly ever since Barack made the religious, gun-clinging remark. I don't care what McCain says but between him and Barack, McCain is going to be most like Bush, by far I think. Also, to think that if something were to happen to McCain, Palin, with her few years experience (in Alaska no less) would lead our country? Yikes. I know a lot of people think something will happen to Obama but I think Biden is more qualified than Palin to run the country. If McCain gets elected, I don't want to hear any American bitching about how bad the government is.

  11. I agree with this 100%

Mmm.. I remember Sarah Silverman was far rude last year, specially with Britney :D. Russell didn´t use insults after all. :bleh:

Oh I didn't like Sarah at all. No one talks bad about my Britney. :sneaky2:

Ok, so everyone talks about Britney...:naughty:

  12. I don't think he ever waxed them...

Well he certainly has something done, of course it's only around when he's filming scenes. I'm too lazy to look up better pictures but even the pictures in this thread show the difference.

If you look at his eyebrows he has a lot of stray ones underneath.

I know this one is farther away but if you look, there are no strays.
