Hi all, have been chatting in the TTT, and have just decided we should have an official Mika Fan Club get together.

Would have to be a place that is easy enough for people to get to, London perhaps???

How good would it be to get as many of us together to swap Mika stories, photos, listen to his music, and MIKA, if you are reading this, you could even come along too!!!

Hey, nice to have named your kid after a Peanuts character! And I think Charlie sounds much better as a name for a kid than say Woodstock.

 

And thank you for liking my avatar! I finally found a Snoopy pic that was blue enough for approval.

 

But I'm afraid I'm not very original anymore, at the moment there's a lot of people around here with Snoopy avatars.

Woodstock is actually my favourite, (could have called him Woodie - Fat Boy Slim and Zoe Ball called their boy woodie!)

I know, but I was gonna go to the butterfly bar posing as a licensing official, not here. I am drying out from the weekend. Still shattered, can't cope with the late night like it used to! Party animal, would never go to bed in case I missed anything, but caved in on Saturday at 2.00am, other 7 still partied on!

I was gonna arrive as a virtual licensing official and slap a warning on the bar! Tee Hee,

Didn't know if I'd be run out of town or not!

But how exiting is it that Mika has our book now!!! He might be reading our letters right now!

All well and happy in the bar again? I was away to the Scotland game on saturday and stayed in Glasgow, still recovering.

Oh...what can I say about Freddie?...

 

My favourite singer EVER!! I listen to him since I was a child!

I can't add anything to what all of you have written...He was a genius!

 

Unfortunately I never had the chance to see Freddie on stage, but in 2005 I saw Brian and Roger, with Paul Rodgers. I must say it was the most emotional concert I've ever attended!! One of the best nights of my life! Before the concert, I was like a child going to a big party for the first time!

 

One of the most emotional moments was when Bri dedicated Love Of My Life to Freddie, and every single person in that stadium shouted Freddie's name... Beautiful! And of course, when Freddie appeared on video, singing Bohemian Rhapsody...

I've talked about Queen on another thread and what they meant/mean to me.

So many song, so many fond memories. Some that even make the hair stand on end. Especially Freddie at Live Aid. Never ever, will we see a performance like that again. Bo Rap in gym class in P1.

Has to be Grace Kelly, it was the song that had such an impact that I rushed out and got tickets for Mika in Feb and May, bought the album, joined the fan club.

Love all the others, but Grace Kelly will always have a special place in my heart!

I really have a problem there, I know my daughter would love to go to the concert with me, but I'm just a bit like...how pissed off would I get if I had to take her to the bathroom 3 times during the concert I'm being really egoistic I know, since I am gonna go to more concerts than the one in Copenhagen, but it's just a different kind of concert when you have a 6 year old along and I wanna jump around in front like the 14 year old crazy fan I really feel I am, I don't wanna stand in the back and assure her every 5 minutes that he will eventually play Lollipop

lol! Me and girlintheblue were more worried about us needing the loo at the last one, never mind having a kid too!

I too have Mika fan kids! 5 and 3 year olds, who fight every time we get into the car about which song goes on first. Favs at the moment are Ring Ring and Love Today. My 3 year old has a great wee dance to Grace Kelly.

Yesterday I was mucking about with my 5 year old and was pretending that Mika was in our drive way, she said

"you're only kidding me, cause he's not a real person!"
