Don't know how long it will take to rattle up a pair of trousers, but I have a suggestion.

Kath, GITB, Wendi and myself were planning a wee get together, so why don't we do it before the gig and get the trousers done then??

SCG, you are welcome to come too. If we can decide today on a date (there is a bank holiday weekend before the concert), I will keep the B&B free, and we could do a mega team effort. Not good at sewing machine stuff but can cut material out and provide lots of cups of tea until the job is done, then lots of wine! Kath & GITB could bring their sewing machines here!

Hey what a great wee community we are here! It's just fab that things like this are happening through the fan club!

It takes a while..........took me about a year I reckon to get fully tuned in! They ceratainly say 'Ken' a lot around here too..........not sure why really when 'know' is a perfectly sensible word!

I love Queen and Freddie, have since I was about 14 years old, and I'm 41 now. I saw them twice when Freddie was alive, and the second time, I was in the 8th row. I can't describe the feeling of being so close. They were so good in concert and put on a fantastic show. Freddie was in complete command of the audience, and completely confident in doing so. He was meant to be doing just what he was doing.

 

I also saw Queen with Paul Rogers, and it was an emotional experience to hear Queen play those songs live again. I never thought I'd hear them play or see Roger or Brian again. I loved the show, and loved the way they remembered Freddie throughout.

 

I know that Mika isn't Freddie, but just that he has a touch of the Freddie style is attractive. His voice is incredible and his music is fun. Love it!

You are soooooooo lucky to have seen Queen live, (twice!), what an experience! Would have loved to have seen them!

Is it general admission or numbered seats at this concert?

 

If you meet Mika can you please say "g'day" to him for me? Wish you could give him something from me!

Well, I guess it started several years ago when I fell in love with a Scottish actor… plus my mother loves the Scottish accent and she had a very bad influence on me… and I read these awesome novels that have the hottest Scottish character ever created in it… and if I hear any Scottish man talking it just does my head in… I have no control whatsoever and I turn into a puddle… plus who in their right mind can resist a man in a kilt… and some of ya’s speak that sexy gaelic… and ya have green grass and big castles and stuff... I could go on and on… It’s an illness… but I’ll not be wantin’ a cure!!
