  1. ahahahaaa:roftl: yeaah, in fact you are right....it's like when you say "you are a pig" at someone it's actually on offense for a pig cause pigs are very fantastic animals!!!!! and very intelligent. pooor pigs. what people do to animals (in fact people are the worst!) unfortunately I'm a human too and I need humans....ahhhh (to me human can be the best. and the worst sometimes...)
  2. oh, darling....I leave it to your imagination.... I don't wanna say anything...maybe just that he really reminded me of a beautiful , black arabian... and I loooooove beautiful horses (I just love horses, the legend in my family is that my first word was "konika"- it's just a transformed polish word for the horse... I wanted to have a horse for my whole life!) and.....I couldn't find the photo I wanted...basically I wanted just a black arabian without nothing...but in special pose, moving in special way...not like this one, more from the front...caught in running to my direction, in more wild way...but.....this one is also ok:wink2: and finally I would say-yes, he reminded me of black arabian (and with this interesting oriental thing-of black arabian dressed like this one in my signature:wink2:) and no offence, it's a huge compliement. basically I associate people with animals. and I love people who remind me of certain animals I love....and it's more like the spirit of the animal plus the look...like a totem (not all people-animals associations are nice and a compliement in my world;-))))))))) and sure sometimes even a horse-association is not a compliement..but it depends on a certain context;-))) ufffff hahahahaa......
  3. aha, and one more thing I wanna say...about saturday. You actually did it, that happy moment, happy not only for Mika but also for me, I was excited, and very happy when he won and I love to be happy..., so it was actually you, French fans, not just fans, but French fans:wink2: (cause the rest couldn't vote, right? I didn't even try cause I thought I couldnt:wink2:-maybe I shouldnt have said that........anyway: Thank you French Fans-you made this happy moment for Mika and many people around the globe....
  4. honey, we have minus ten:wink2: yesterday at night it was minus 30 in one part of the country..... (but think about Russia, they have more minus.....) in Poland it was like the whole autumn and december and the half of january wind blew from West...so it was warm, above zero, but sometimes no sun and very moist so chilly .... now the wind is from the east, from the fridge-Siberia. but the sun is shining all the time. I personally don't want to go out from my bed at all:mf_rosetinted:
  5. in my country we say "jealousy is harmful for your beauty" "jealousy damages/destroys your beauty" (well we say it in more sophisticated and complicated way but it is lost in translation:wink2:) so yeees.

  9. good luck with your exam!!!!xxx thank you for explaining and it's ok:-))))) I also have problems with replying fast!!!!

  10. I love TBWKTM more than LICM....and I see progress. although LICM is a masterpiece. I just agree with someone who said "Mika's albums are all Gratest Hits" there is no weak song on them! (and I don't know who said that. maybe some journalist. and maybe it was me;)
  11. of course he sang live and that incident with sound/additional playback is just an incident! and yes...sth wrong with the transmission of the sound....Mika's song was quieter that's one thing...when you listen to the whole transmission and the jingle of "nrj" at the beginning plus other performances they are much louder! ps. maybe they just made the additional vocals(a la playback) louder -transmitted it to tv, and the real vocal dissapeared in all this? like wrong cable;-)) it reminds me of this "Koko" gig in 2010 or 2009....I was there and Mika sang live (that one when he had a man flu) but when we heard it later on tv it sounded like playback at moments....
  12. oh, thank you for saying that! when I heard her singing that song I thought sth like hhhhaaa, is it her original song? and it's a bit funny cause I swear I consciously wouldn't say I know that song but unconsciously I thought (if this is correct way to say that;-)) this is a song I heard before, sth familiar, sth I know.... aha so this is a cover....i'm sure I can find out who sang that originally but if you know can you tell me please.
  13. more from me about the performance ;-) He's got more "heaviness" inside ...like he feels more "worthy" inside-for himself, for me he was always worth all the money in the world he looked very charismatic, very self confident and comfortable on stage. now I think he looks very good in black from head to toes (and of course I love this oriental things around his hips...
  14. ...besides I think ...why in France? because French perceive Mika as theirs..as a French guy who went to uk..and made worldwide career. In uk Mika is perceived a bit as a 'stranger" but it's only my personal feelings and only a generalization of course!!!!!!! but looking at the french music market (or culture) now and ..it's also only my feelings more like a descriptive language and don't get hurt or anything please (you had Edith Piaf and Barbara and many more) ...I think Mika is more "bloody" , more hardcore ...he is not mild....he belongs to hot blooded people in the world (and in France). He has a "french" touch in his soul but he is much more....
  15. to me uk is extremely competetive....and it happens like you described it but if the artist has his 5 minutes and wins the audience that loves him the audience will remember....Mika sells tours in uk and there are always people who will come to see him. he doesn't have to be on the radio all the time. but I know it 's more like...temporary....and maybe new people/fans are needed....but..... and of course there is always this "underground" current....the internet...the market of people listening to the music despite radio stations and meanstreams....that's how Mika appeared .... I predict he will have a long and fruitfull worldwide career if he wants to .... in the fields he turns into because he is one in a milion , he is respected by the best and he has his whole life ahead...
  16. ....or the "music directors"...I don't know much about the inside things on the radios and I'm sure in Poland in the main commercial radio stations it must be similar..but we also have many radio stations (and not the small ones) who have "authors programms" mainly ...not even dj's but people who talk about and present music they like...I remember one of our most known radio presenters (and most respected) had a friend (she was Polish, she married a guy from Holland and she moved to Holland and worked in the radio there...and it was a tradition they always connected on Friday, or Saturday and talked about Polish and Dutch lists and hits. and this woman, Alina she looooved Mika and spoke about him very often,,,,unfortunately maybe the profile of this radio programm here was more into rock loving audience....anyway....and of course this "author's programms" have their fans but they're not masses...more like elite.... ( personally I'm happy that I discovered Mika and I'm not crazy about making him more popular....the only plus for me of him being more popular here is that he would come here more often, like "Hurts" for instance....)
  17. yeah....Kick ass is that kind of a song that should be playd loooooud in the crucial moments in the movie! when there's an action!! and repeatidly!!! and nas don't say barbados doesn't count!!! every country counts!!!! like we say "He belongs to the World...."
  18. haha, I wish:wink2:.... but it was more like there were like 2 or 3 no..like 2 people between us, and a few around us.. (but it wasn't very crowdy) I wasn't just next to him...and he was like standing maybe even back to the whole bus looking through the window but I'm not sure about it (maybe not exactly cause I saw his face)...and he was holding the metal barrier (I guess) and he started to sing..not very loud..
  19. hahahaaa, I've never posted anything in the dream thread;-)) I remember I especially liked that he sang "blame it on the weather" just by himself;-) the whole song...;-) and people were like busy doing other things..it was like I was the only one who noticed that he was singing (and I remember we were at the back of this bus...and people were mostly standing there...like at the party, talking...and maybe drinking....but it was definitely a vehicle...a bus...and it was moving....)
  20. ahhhhhaahaaaaa ...just a diggresion....excuse me...I had a flash back memory reading posts....last night when I was sleeping I had a dream...Mika was in a bus? or sth like that and I was there...and there were other people there ...like his friends...and my friends....and I don't remember exactly why but suddenly he started to sing a capella...and it was wonderful;-) ....and I remembe exactly what he sang ...he sang "blame it on the weather", "one foot boy" and "touches you" that's all. that 3 songs. end of story. thank you for your attention:-)))))
  21. yes maybe I honestly have to say I didn't know "kick ass" went unnoticed. I personally loved this song (but I didn't like the movie...maybe I liked this little girl a bit and some details but I didn't like the movie) but kick ass was promoted, right? maybe it wasn't played on the radio very often ? and elle me dit was. I remember Mika saying sth like "let's take it directly to the radio and we'll see" so I guess it was the radio!!! Like I said- have many friendly radio dj's;-)))) of course to me the song itself is worth playing and loving. it is very original song to me. and many people loved it. (but "kick ass" was great tooo) changing the subject a bit.... He deserves all 3 awards (I should check the other's people's songs and clips properly) but from what I've seen.. I think Elle me dit was the most original song and should win the best song and video!!! but the prize for the best international male was really great cause He truly is an International star (but not to get overexcited about prizes....they're nice but they're just....prizes....some great artists don't get prizes...some not so great get them.....)
  22. hahhhahaaaa... variations about "he deserves 3 awards..." yes he deserves 3 awards btw..I thought the sole is all red...I can see a part that is not red...(?)
  23. ahh..I sometimes forget during elle me dit that the lyrics are pretty dramatic. (because I don't understand french)....with Mika's songs it's always like my face is serious but my body wants to dance...it is like that with me at his gigs....cause I listen to him ...and the lyrics are serious...so I'm not smiling....but my body dances... (but sometimes if you're strong enough you can use this anger...and help yourself...but first you have to change sadness into anger...I remember once I was so furious at my mother and my brother that it actually helped me to help myself...it was like I'm the only one who could help myself so I grabbed my hair and dragged myself out in spite of drawning...but I don't wanna get into details....I can count on them...but in this one thing I suppose they were too scared, surprised and helpless...they really didn't know what to do...)
