as for writing a song for her... I don't see the point.

Besides Madonna wants to be in control of everything so no way she would have Mika write a song for her and then just sing it! If there was something between the two, they would lock themselves up in a studio and we would know about it from the press!

I think it would be interesting to see how a caliberation between Mika and Madonna would work out...No big Madonna fan, but hay, if Mika is involved it can only turn out good. I found the list of songs that would probably be on her album, I wounder if Mika has written one of them, which one he has written...

today they are doing this program on eldoradio (Luxembourgish radio station) where you can ask for a song and I asked for Mika and said that I was sooo looking forward to his concert here in November! and then they called me back (which they don't do normally) and asked me to chat a little with them about Mika on air!

they asked me questions about how I liked his album etc. if I already have tix (I don't even remember everything!) and then they made me sing the chorus of Relax!! OMG I have just the most awful voice on earth but I did it!! the things he doesn't make me do!!

This collaboration has been mentioned in quite a few articles but I really don't believe this rumour...

after the party,it was so amazing;met mika again for an ultimate autograph and all of the band(not luke...);made photo with all of us and with the banner!they was so cool!!!!!omg!!!

Yes, people know where to find them, can listen if they want to (that's a decision of individual conscience), not much anyone can do to stop this. Fair enough.

 

BUT we here on the forum shouldn't further divulge them, provide links, share files, upload onto our myspaces etc., because Mika (the creator of the works) has asked that we don't, and if we respect him, we should respect his wishes.

And I understand that they've been scattered on the internet, but as fans, and doing what Mika would like us to do, we should try to PREVENT these demos getting more publicity.

Nope they are still on youtube and getting lots of views. Mika just said he didn't want them to be posted, it's not like he issued a ban on talking about them. Demos leaking on the internet is a thing that happens with a lot of artists. So what do their fans do? If you are a big fan, then you will find out about where to find them and push the download button! Of course you don't post download links and spread them on the net but I think that you should be allowed to discuss such demos in a forum like Mikafanclub. If someone reads our discussion about the demos, they still don't know where to find them. If they search hard enough, however, they will eventually find them and then they deserve to enjoy listening to these amazing songs just like we do.

Mika has SAID that he does not want these demos being shared. They are, after all, private.

 

and YES, talking about them on a PUBLIC forum is a way of sharing them. We are constantly getting new members and if they don't know about the forbidden demos and they see this thread, another fan knows about Mika's private work. I don't want to intrude on Mika's privacy, do you?

I get your point and I totally understand why Mika isn't too happy about his unfinished songs being on the internet. But let's face it, they are even on youtube...the damage is done! I just don't see the point of treating them like a state secret anymore. Maybe they were at the beginning but not anymore.

I think everyone should be free to talk about the demos! They were put on youtube a long long time ago, so there really is no point in still trying to keep them a secret...because they're not! Obviously they are not to be posted:giveup:

Not much of a surprise that Mika is not nominated, he is just not well known enough in the US. What is surprising though is that after all those years, they changed the whole award concept of the show. It used to be all about the videos with "Best Group Video", "Best Male Video", "Best Female Video" and so on but now only one category-"Best Video"-is about the videos. The name Video Music Awards doesn't quite fit anymore...

That is hilarious! He looks like some crazy fan suddenly jumping around on stage and then quickly disappearing! He obviously was in quite a good mood before the concert!

yess! the singer said "mika!" and he apperead! he was wearing an orange backpack but (robertina told me this thing cause i was too far ) it was opened so all the things he had inside it started to come out and were all on stage. lol

Yeah the radio hosts said something about ping pong balls coming out of his backpack! I hope he repeats that on other gigs, it must be fun to watch!
