  1. I don't find the puzzles illogical, quite the reverse, when you finally have the answer it's astonishing how much sense everything makes :naughty: It's one of the reasons I really like this hunt :thumb_yello:

Problem is, looking backwards everything is so clear, but at the beginning I'm thinking in a million wrong directions as well all the time :aah:

Couldn't agree more! :wub2: LOVE THESE PUZZLES!

The only problem is I'm at work every day at 9:36 (the time a new clue gets anounced German time) - so I cannot properly concentrate on the puzzle with calls coming in and meetings being scheduled. :aah: But I still love it. :teehee:

Finally have seen it with my own eyes as I'm home now, so far I only read from my team member what happened. It's hilarious :lmfao: They really gave a lot of thought, effort and creativity into this hunt. Although there are some problems with the competition, you really have to give the swatch people credit for that :thumb_yello:

Yeah. Today's puzzle was absolutely brilliant! So amazing how it all makes sense once you got the solution. The people at Swatch rock! :thumb_yello:

  2. I was actually planning to go to bed early tonight as I haven't gotton a lot of sleep lately - but TBH I'm still on a little cloud...

I enjoyed the whole Colmar show so much - Meeting friends in the queue (Some Mika friends I hadn't expected turned up which was amazing :wub2:) was alredy a first highlight. The gig itsef was awesome as well - one of my favourite shows so far I think in any case from the bigger ones. The venue ist just so perfect for a Mika gig and the audience was so responsive. :wub2: The whole energy in the place was incredible. Mika was in a great mood as you can see in the vids and really seemed to be having a great time up there. I turned around to look at the audience a couple of times and seeing everyone having the time of their lives just felt so amazing - as if we were all part of something very special. Unfortunately I couldn't take many vids and pix as I was busy jumping around and singing along to the songs at the top of my lungs...

The M&G / B'day party afterwards was the cherry on top. :wub2: A huuuuge THANK YOU to everyone who have put a lot of efforts in the organization! :wub2: Thank you for making sure it turned out the way it did - with everone who attended staying calm and sitting down - which made it an unforgettable night for so many of us. The whole M&G was pure <3. Mika looked genuinely happy - and so did all of the lucky fans. What a lovely experience for all of us! I surely won't forget this day ever again.

It is really exceptional that Mika is up for things like these. I cannot say how much I appreciate that he is so down-to-earth and seems to enjoy this part of the "fan-star relationship" as much as we do. The fact alone of singers signing stuff after a gig cannot at all be taken for granted. So many artists don't even bother to greet their fans waiting outside. Mika has always tried to meet fans after his gigs whenever it was possible and he has done sooo much more: bringing up fans on stage (dancers, choir,...), agreeing to do M&Gs at times (like this b'day party)...This is something really special and I will be forever grateful that I have luckily become a fan of the best popstar in the world. ;-)

  3. Done :thumb_yello::wub2:

"It's an honor to be with you here tonight . If someone had told me when I was thirteen in this town of my childhood that I would be here one day at the age of twenty nine on stage in front of you celebrating this new law I would have never thought it would have been possible.

Ladies and gentlemen. Ladies and ladies. Gentlemen and gentlemen. Congratulations!

When I was twenty one I created a story about Billy Brown , a man I was afraid to become. Tonight I haven't become Billy Brown."

This is indeed a very lovely speech! <3

This is why I was always so irritated when people wanted to pair him up with women and insist that he wasn't gay. You can't know for sure what is in someone's heart when they won't discuss it in detail but he always pointed to his "music" as his truth. And by "music" it was obvious he meant Billy Brown (and later Toy Boy).

I am so glad we are living in an era where he doesn't have to be Billy Brown to have a career, something others like Elton John and George Michael must have felt while I was growing up.

After the Notre Dame suicide I was checking Twitter to see that there were no problems at the gig and some were calling it a flop. But you can see the huge crowd in the video. It looks amazing with all the flags.

I hope it's a new era for the LGBT community in France and the protesters will start to move n and worry about more important things.

I agree with you here. I'm happy he doesn't have to live a closeted life as many "had to" before.

  4. My tip for the winner is Denmark, Russia or Greece. Malta and Ukraine are likely to finish high as well

My personal favourite was Greece and .....Hungary :teehee:

Obviously Germany loves the Hungarian song as well! <3 So happy we gave our douze points to one of my favourites. :) And we gave 8 points to Iceland <3 Really really happy with our voting. :)

I can live with the results...Although Denmark wasn't one of my favourite entries it is by far better than the songs which ended up second and third: Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

Really happy to see Hungary, Italy, Malta and Greece in the top 10. Liked the Russian and Norwegian entries as well. Iceland should have gotten more votes...but hey, that's Eurovision. :)

All in all it was a great show and I'm already looking forward to next year. :) Gotta love Eurovision!

  5. It's Eurovision time! :wub2: I seriously so cannot wait to see the show and experience the unique ESC spirit.

Hungary's song is just so cute and Iceland's song is actually really good too (and I've listened so much Sigur Rós that singing in Icelandic reminds me of them and that way makes me love the song...)

These two songs are amongst my favourites as well! :thumb_yello:

So tonight I'll be rooting for

1.) Iceland - can't stop listening to the song for weeks :wub2:

All I've got for this song is LOVE. :)

Besides, I also reall like France, Italy, Hungary, Moldova, Belgium, Estonia, Armenia....Though I'm pretty sure that not all of them will manage to do well...

The Danish song sounds alright to me - though in my opinion it doesn't deserve being basically THE only favourite...We'll see if it really wins...

I have no idea how the German entry will do...lately I find Cascada

s song a ittle bit less annoying than before - but that's how it's always like with Eurovision songs for me. :aah:

    Let the show begin!!! :wub2:

  6. This belongs here!

    hamelmusic Wouter Hamel

Wow! @mikasounds ' show kicked serious ass! Good on ya Mika! pic.twitter.com/6ZiyeGDpUn

    :wub2:

    from @mikasounds

@hamelmusic so we are about to sing in this empty bar now that the piano singer has finally stopped. Stop smoking and let's get on with it

I can scarcely believe it! What's so funny is in Reykjavik, Biekje asked Mika if he would ever sing with Wouter and he said, "No!" :naughty:

I can't stop smiling since I saw this picture in the afternoon... :wub2::wub2::wub2: And Mika's tweet about them singing together. Have had this dream for sooooo long! And I know I'm not the only one. :mikalove:

Who knows...under the right circumstances (like now =) ) they'd probably do a song together. Awww!

About the show: What I've seen so far looks pretty impressive. :thumb_yello: I definitely need to do a Mika show in Seoul on day. Need to put this on my to do list. :)

  7. 18h53

Question (journaliste) : et sinon, tes projets ?

    18h55

Wow! This sounds super-exciting! :wub2: Would love to go and see this show...

  8. Waking up this morning it all feels like a dream to me. Yesterday's gig felt very special to me. Mika was so charming and spontaneous. Loved seeing him so much at ease.

Hearing him sing parts of HE and Lola without a mic gave me goosebumps all over my body and moved me to tears. Yes, I usually don't cry at a Mika gig - But this was just so intense. <3 I never would have expected him to do this again after DC- So now I feel so blessed that I had a chance to see this gig.

Dita's intro to "Big girl" was pretty amazing. I actually loved it. It suited the song so well and made it extra-special.

MYH was more than beautiful, too. Yes, Mika made us happy. :wub2:

And I gotta say that after hearing it live twice I am in love with Hia Leah. :wub2: Never would have expected that as I wasn't such a fan of this song when I first got to hear it.

Thank you to the beautiful MFCers we spent the day with: Kira, Indy, Deb and Christine. :wub2: I was really enjoying this.

Last day sightseeing for us in NYC today...This little adventure is almost over. Loved NYC, loved the two Mika shows, loved everything. There's one thing for sure: I will never forget this week. :wub2:

  9. I finally got around to read all of your lovely reviews. Thank you! This really brought back so many memories. :wub2: I don't know what to add to your reports...All I gotta say it that it definitely was one of my favourite Mika gigs. This North American acoustic tour has been so amazing and le PR wasn't an exception. Throughout the whole gig I was like "OMG - Flying over to NYC was definitely worth everything!" :mikalove: Mika's voice So powerful was just pure magic. So powerful. Like wow! And we were sooo close. I seriously couldn't believe I was there. Such an irreal feeling...

It was lovely spending some time with the other MFCers in the queue. You all rock. Really looking forward to meeting some of you again on Friday.

  10. Oh Mana, such an excellent report, thank you so much!!!!! :flowers2: I can't believe he is really doing something like this, just reading your report almost makes me cry... This is something we have wanted to happen for years!

I second that! Loved reading your report, Mana! :wub2:

Thank you four sharing your experience with us! Souns like a perfect gig...

Max and Curtis doing this DJ set thingie sounds interesting, too. :naughty:

Makes me so much more excited for New York now...
