    We're all different and allowed to have our own opinions- but it doesn't make them deaf, dumb, blind or even mute. If the world wasn't as diverse as this then it would be very boring indeed....

     

    Yes, that's right too...some really don't like him...it's difficult to understand, but possible :naughty:

     

    But many people don't like Mika only because they decided so...(my friends for example :sneaky2: )

     

     

    Anyhow almost the whole critic loves him, because usually they really understand music and that's the important...

     

    People sometimes is stupid...that's shown by some people that are famous singers but that, IMO, should dovote themselves to gardening: Hilary Duff, Justin Timberlake (not always...), Rihanna, Beyonce, Fergie (solo carreer), Britney Spears... I hope not to offend anyone, but I really can't listen to a song by them!

    mmm...yes, I can understand your incredulity...

     

    Here in Italy he's not famous as in UK, and many only say: 'Mika?...puah...it's not for me...' but they simply haven't ever listened to his songs...

     

    Many people think to understand everything about a musician only hearing without attention an unique song: in Italy he's famous only because of Grace Kelly..Love Today is still not famous to the whole people... and, if you don't know all the background, GK can seem quite incomprehensible and not too deep

     

    So, many people needs to show that they KNOW about music...they are musically snob... they can't admit to love a so original and joyful music

     

    Lollipops? Big girls? What the hell???

     

    Are you crazy? I can't listen to that...I can't afford that because of my reputation...

     

    But this is only a little part of the world...they're stupid and sad...well, they will stay alone with their grey lives...good luck :wink2:

     

    We'll enjoy our colourful world with Mika and without them :biggrin2:

    One day I was in my uni and a very cool boy, one of the kind you think would never listen to Mika...(I don't know how to explane, sorry ;) )...well...I was talking with my friends when I heard him singing 'I could be brown parapapaaa parapapapapapaaaaa....'

     

    :naughty: not a very impressive english, but I was really happy about it!

     

    Grace Kelly is really infectious :roftl:

    Sometimes I skip "Over My Shoulder" too and for the same reason - it makes me sad.... You have to be in particular mood to listen to it... But when I do - it's so touching, it almost makes me cry.... And watching Mika perform this song live is really moving.... So I could never say I don't like it.

     

    My choice would be "Erase" too and I feel like a criminal saying that, because I actually like it! And it obviously has been written when Mika was feeling down and he was hurting... Oh God, maybe I've made a wrong choice...:blink:

    we ALL love ALL his songs...I actually like Erase, but think that is the one I listen fewer times (God...Is this correct english? I don't think so :blink::doh:)

    lol! stuck in the middle REALLY grew on me.

     

    when i first got the album my faves were:

    grace kelly

    lollipop

    love today

    relax!

    big girl

     

    The others...i didnt like so much...but they've all seriously grown on me. When I played FFXII i had mika's album playing and stuck in the middle was the song i least like at the time. but i was too lazy to press skip so i just listened to it anyway -- and ended up falling in love with it lmao!

     

    The same happened to me with Relax and Ring-Ring...now I love both of them

     

    I really love ALL his songs and that's quite strange for me, it's difficult that i like only an artist...I usually am a compilation woman :biggrin2:

     

    but 'erase'... a little less :wink2:

    Ohhhhh sooo hard!!!! u know id say same jeans cos its not his song and the view sing it better Lol yes i think they do!!! Holy Johnny is my fave!!!!!!:biggrin2:

     

    Gosh...im in deep crisis...I've always said that my favourite were Love Today and Happy Ending...but now...Holy Johnny :mf_lustslow:
