yup...I mean it's quite impossible to be unaware of such an amazing talent

 

But as I said,he's not a "mainstream" person,musically. You have to have a certain inclination to be able to fully appreciate his work.

 

He's not going for the catchy tune,or the "hey hey you you" that gets stuck in your head. He is going for the feeling and that's what I absolutely love

1. there's a belief, that if a person gets hiccups - someone somewhere is mentioning them...poor David...

2. anyway - there has always been a niche for those (seemingly)non-catchy ones, and not that small a niche btw... plus if there's something more to the song, than just a pretty tune, whether it is lyrics, mood, reflection of authors active citizenship etc - it will find its way...

so (guess I am repeating myself here) I don't think there's some kind of doubt whether his album will find responce/be commercially successful etc, but rather some personal decisions.

Well I don't think he's unaware that he's a good singer,I just think that maybe he's not that comfortable with all the spotlight and assault on him. Seriously,could you imagine Luke like Mika for example? I mean Mika thrives on media attention

 

 

That being said,I too would love to see him get all the credit for his work

 

 

Absolutely agree with Ioana's point of view.....I've always had this feeling that the main reason for staying out of the spotlight is not "being unaware" of his powers, but rather some personal choice....(whtever the reason of the choice can be...)

Oh, these are reminding me of the STD ones that Graham Norton gave out to his guests in December. I can't remember which ones they were or which one Mika got, all I remember is Mika going on and on about Herpes and wasn't it the same as having cold sores and he had cold sores..........
