    Tonights drunken effort, I need to work on the sarcasm a bit more though.

     

     

    Mika is a man of many talents,

    Some of which are hidden,

    Others he boasts about all the time,

    Because he is so well driven

    Sometimes I feel I would like to find,

    Exactly what the hell they are

    But it’s so hard to tell from the back,

    Because it’s just too bloody far.

    I have heard a rumour about his wand,

    That it sparkles and it glows,

    Alas I will never see,

    What is hidden down below

    I may find out from his daily blog

    You never know what he will post

    I'm hoping for some goss at least,

    Or some porn from the server host

    I am really looking forward

    To the gig next week in France

    I’m planning to get pissed with babs,

    And enjoy a song along and dance

    But most of all I hope,

    That the show is bloody fantastic,

    It’s gonna take a lot you know,

    Maybe the old wiz was passing on his kind and fine wand to the young wiz.

     

    (And no, kind and fine wand is not a euphemism. Sometimes a wand is just a wand.)

    Oh the interviewer just said that the gossip was that Ian McKellen (who played Gandalf) and Mika were shagging. Alan Cumming said that he didn't think that was true.( I don't know if that was because he thought Mika isn't gay or Ian McK wasn't Mika's type.:mf_rosetinted:) Alan said he had spoken to Mika on the phone a couple of weeks ago. The interviewer asked how he knew Mika and Alan said Somerset House.

    Then he went on to say that the papers all thought they were shagging because they got into a cab together that night.

     

    Oh how rumours start!

     

    Which reminds me while I was googling this morning, I found a site I think Yahoo, where they answer questions and someone had asked about Mika's love life. Someone else had replied that he was married with two kids, they had read on here , mwhahahaha

     

    thanx for the tip, Babs! I wouldnt pay attention to the thread otherwise (thinking it is one of those "real name" ones)

     

    P.S. Alan reminds me of other Alan - Rickman - as he gets older :bleh:

    off topic - in case of emergency situation, wonder what (bad word) would first pop-up in his mind (English or French?) - knowing that he is bi-(lingual)...

     

    (and in certain situations one wants to curse in a way that everybody understands, and in other - that no one does:naughty:

    ..the ones dealing with two or more languages in everyday life will prob understand ...)

    No, still no letter :thumbdown: . I'll write them an email soon. If I only knew that I was refused than I could start looking for something else. The waiting drives me crazy. I wrote a mail to the university of Reading a few days ago and got a response yesterday where they told me that they have an Erasmus exchange programme with Bielefeld. Why the hell didn't I know that :blink: ? The organisation of my university so sucks!!! Anyway, I'm still patiently waiting. We have a national holiday today, so no mail...

     

    I'm also still looking for a camera. I thought I had decided on one but now I'm not sure anymore :blink: . There are sooooo many. Terrible!

     

    First of all - good luck with the letter!

     

    And it is certainly not a bad idea at all to doublecheck - phone or email. In fact, it is highly recommended....(and yes, the bureaucracy within educational system is discouraging...:thumbdown:) !

     

    P.S. same goes for internships and university xchange programs search - it is far more reliable to take initiative into own hands....unfortunately the university secretariat is not always "in the know" of some basic options and fellowships :thumbdown:
