He's got me locked in no matter what. No matter how long it takes. I'm a fan thru and thru so however long it takes it will be well worth the wait.

Just an example of my commitment......

I became a fan of the Philosopher Kings back in 1997 and have waited a loooooong time for new material from them. They kind of fell off of the face of the earth in 1999, but came back in 2006 with a new album. Yet again they fall away, but I still wait.

I'm not a huge fan either, I felt a little freaked out the first time I heard him!!! I just posted a youtube link on the John Mayer thread of a bit of a spoof of chocolate rain. Kinda funny!!

He's from my hometown. It's kind of weird. He handed out candy to trick or treaters a couple years ago.

Ohhh, John Mayer is amazing!

And i went to his concert last year and it was flawless

He has yet to disappoint me. ( doubt that will happen) Although I must say that I enjoyed the Heavier Things tour a bit better than the Continuum tour. Only becuase it was a little more upbeat. But....on the other hand I did really enjoy the Continuum tour as John showed us what he was really capable of when it comes to his guitar playing skillz!!!!

I think that it's hard to even take a stab in the dark at what his new album artwork will look like. I do know that it will be one of a kind as was LICM. It will have it's own uniqueness and I don't think that we will be at all disappointed.

Love him! Seen him live too! He is such an amazing guitar player, i think people underestimate him in terms of his talent as a guitarist and view him more as like a singer. He's gorgeous too. Who saw the pics of him in the Borat bathing suit on PerezHilton!?

I can't believe he wore that thing it is hidious. And just to think I almost went on that cruise!!!

Oh yes i LOVE john mayer! but i've never had the opportunity to se him live.. and tbh the only artsist i'd TRAVEL to see is Mika (which in fact I have done).. but yes john mayer IS amazing!

I'm not a huge fan of the new haircut either. I like him much better with his longer curlier/wavier locks, but not too long like in my photos. I think he looks much too shaggy.

I've never seen that one either. It's so short though, such a teaser!!!

Next to MIKA, John Mayer is another favourite of mine. I've seen him Live twice now. Once in Vancouver and once in Calgary. Both gigs were fantastic and I can't wait for him to do another tour of north america. This time I will be sure to take the opportunity to meet him if I get another since i will forever regret not going to the sound check that I was offered. UGH!!! Oh well.

I logged on last night for the first time, It was interesting!!! A lot of name changes made things a bit confusing, but I think I'll use it more in the future to get to know more of you. I kind of felt out of the loop a bit with not knowing you all well enough.

Ok, so when I read the title of this thread I thought it was a little creepish!! I'm sorry, I'm not trying to offend anybody please don't be offended!! I also found it kind of funny becuase I find myself in reminiscence sometimes of the moment that I was lucky enough to be on the stage at the vancouver gig during lollipop. I remember feeling the heat and the humidity and smelling sweat!!! warm wet sweaty t-shirt smell. LOL:biggrin2:
