  1. Hello Jolene! Long time no see!

I've been pretty good thanks! What about you? How's work been going?

Really busy, but really good! Have just finished doing a self appraisal for my performance review I have coming up in the next few weeks- yuck- I hate filling out those things! I went to the Gold Coast a few weeks ago for our national convention- had an awesome time, and although I didn't win consultant of the year (I was in the final 3) WA did win the best represented state so I was really happy about that! Will load a photo if I get a chance. There was LOTS of partying and not much sleep but so worth it!

Have you got any exams this last week?

  2. Morning All!

See, I found my back here again :thumb_yello:

I know I will regret this, but what on earth are chico babies?

They are one of the best lollies around- chocolate flavoured jellies in the shape of babies. I can't find a pic but just picture chocolate flavoured jelly babies!!

  3. Hi Everyone!

Ooooooooo ....Ok . Have you heard of (what I & many consider) to be the BEST instant cure for burns ?? It's a herbal cream ... both know as 'ROSA' or 'Scarless Healer' .... can get it from most health food stores & some chemists.

It has Hypericum, Calendula & Aloe Vera extracts in it . I have been using it since 1982 !:punk: Friends who worked on film sets told me about it then .... stunt men/women use it on 3rd degree burns ! For best affect , cool burn first & then dab/rub on immediately .

I am pretty sure I used that on my leg when I sliced it open at work when I was 15.

  4. Yes!!!! did you get a popcorn one :roftl:

    Im addicted!

Your food intake sounds just perfect to me btw!

    Hiya! long time no speaky!

    Heya FD :wub2:

:lol3: No no, the day after tomorrow. Because tomorrow you shall buy a bunch of my fundraising chocolates :cheerful_h4h::das:

How much grams did you get for $8?? I think it goes without saying that everyone in this thread now has an un-natural craving for Jelly Belly's :naughty:

    That was for 300gms.

I have just spent $60 on fundraising chocs (which I ate!) for Bailey's footy club! But tell me what you have and drop them into the store- I think I am there on Thursday

    Quiz time

From one of the highest watched tv programmes in the uk EVER

    What was it??

First one to answer gets a popcorn jelly bean:naughty:

    Neighbours.............everybody needs good neigh-bours!!!

I didn't even need to watch the film clip, just saw the title. How scary!!

  5. I succumbed- when I was in Target I walked past the Jelly Belly's and bought a small (still cost me $8!!!) pack that I will slowly eat :naughty: I have been trying to stop eatting crap so buying them does not help! I went to the IGA before and found there is now BBQ Rib flavoured Thins chips so I had to buy them- wonder if they will taste anything like the gravy chips?? Also bought 2 blocks of chocolate cause they were on special. Maybe tomorrow I will stop eatting crap....

  6. Hey everyone!!!

All of this talk about Jelly Belly's is making me want to go and buy a big packet! And I wnat to go on that tour!!

I went and bought a couple of packets of Hamish & Andy's Gravy flavoured chips this morning from Coles- I have already tasted them when they were giving them away on the radio station etc, but wanted more! They taste a little like Burger Rings!! Would have loved to have sent some to my Mika Mail partner but sent my package too early....

I will be around, in between doing housework and taking rubbish out to the big skip bim we have organised

  7. Hey Guys!

Long time no chat (again!) but life is still mental with work- I had to go back to Adelaide for a day again this week. I keep telling myself it will slow down soon.....

Hope everyone is well, am only here for a minute before I go to bed, have to be up early for Bailey's auskick tomorrow.

Have just gotten in from a school's quiz night- it was based around music and was heaps of fun- everyone on our table won a pair of casual sneakers! Mine are black with blue stripes- very funky! There were no Mika questions (hardly any from current music) but there was a U2 question!

Will hopefully be back on here in the morning!

    Night! x

  8. Hey girls!

Wow- I had 17000 unread posts- I think that is a record for myself!

Hope everyone has been well, sorry I haven't been around, but work is a bit crazy at the moment. Gone are the days when I would sit in a store with this page open, 'tis very sad :boxed:

Am sitting in my hotel room in cold Adelaide, fly back home tomorrow morning (early ) waiting for a friend to arrive so we can go and have a yummy dinner and cocktails :thumb_yello:) And I have to come back here for a day next week to assess one of my stores for their "franchisee of the year" application (very exciting!) At least I am racking up frequent flyer points to use when Meeks does decide to come back to Oz- but at this rate I will be able to go overseas and see him! (not that I will be allowed to do that :naughty:)

    What's been going on?

  9. i didn't realise that john mellencamp was popular outside usa and canada! i saw him 7 times in concert, starting way back in the 80s :mf_rosetinted:

he was my previous "love", then i traded him for mika :naughty:

he was in montreal, i think in january, around the same time as mika, i had to make a choice and i choose mika. john mellencamps tickets were about $75 (plus taxes & administration fees) & also, he had a fundraiser happening. for another $40 or $50 (can't remember) you could go and have supper with him before the show. i'm guessing you along with another 200 to 300 people. he gives an excellent show :thumb_yello: worth every penny !

I know- I think I will try and save some money to get tickets, cause he is playing on our wedding anniversary and Michael loves him too....

I just got back from seeing 'The Dark Knight'. It was good and Heath Ledger was BRILLIANT. But I found it a bit confusing and way too long.

Bailey wants to see t but I keep telling hm he won't understand it (he is 5) and that it's prob too scary.

    I want them.

I want what's in them... :das:

I have just lost 3 hours of my life that I will never get back.

I took the kids to the city today, got there, realised I didn't have my purse, cause miss Mackenzie PUT IT IN HER SUITCASE (that her costumes go in) Luckily I could scrap together enough money to be able to park for a little while, and buy undeserving monkeys a 50cent cone from Hungry Jacks.

So I get home and tell her to go get my purse- SHE CAN'T FIND IT! So anyway a bit of time passes I put them into bed and start looking for my purse. Am thinking maybe it is in the car under a seat so I go to the car- which for a change is locked. I come inside- AND NOW CAN'T FIND MY CAR KEYS! :boxed:

I decide maybe if I cleaned the house I will find. No such luck, but after an hour and a half found the other set of keys which have been missing for ages. Go to the car- no purse. Continue to scourer the house until about another hour and a half goes by when I check in the side pocket of a backpack in Kenzies room- finally I had found it.

I was about to kill myslef if I lost both my purse AND car keys. Need to go and have a very large drink now!

  10. Oh! But I meant to say. CD, was it you who told me I should go see Ben Lee before? But I decided to go to the recording of Luke and Wyatt instead and to go to Ben Lee next time he came?

Well ... guess who's coming back to Perth? :naughty:And he's playing at the same festival (some thing in King's Park) as Bob Evans who I also want desperately to see :crybaby: But-but ... it costs $70 :tears:

    I saw that advertised today.

I really want to see John Mellancamp at Evening on the Green ,but even the shiit tickets cost $100 each. If I could win some somewhere.....

How's this- I am just home (and up waaay past my bedtime!) cause one of my stores invited me to their Christmas in July party tonight at a function centre on the Swan River. They only invited me today when I was at "The Fairies" with Kenzie (it's been a busy day!) and I was lucky enough to offload my kids to one of my friends. Unfortunately I had to pick those said children up so I couldn't really drink, but I had great night anyway (except for dancing to the ABBA band ) but did score a bottle of Bailey's as my Secret Santa pressie! Yay! Double Yay!

  11. Hey Girls!

    haha!! Excitement!!

I took a photo of my fridge magnets and stuff.. :naughty:

    ABCD0005.jpg

    Now it's your turn :fisch:

Okay, will take a pic of my fridge later (it's a bit boring...) wtf- why do you have Collingwood shiit on your fridge:thumbdown: (even though there is a similar magnet somewhere in the desk drawer, but there is no chance in hell it is going on my fridge!) If ever I want to embarass Michael I tell people he is a Collingwood member. Unfortunately with the Eagles going so badly this year no one really cares anymore...

    *quotes this pic again*

YAY! I like your mika magnet. :naughty:

I have one just like it :wink2:

    It's pretty special!

  12. Hi guys!

Well, I have only read tihs page but looks liek I have missed out on a few things!?

    Someone fill me in!

I have just finished interviewing over 80 people- nightmare! Had to do 2 group interview sessions and then do quick one on one interviews with them all- my brian is going to explode, and knowing my luck I have hired complete morons!

Am gonna collapse into bed now but will leave this page open so some kind soul can update me.....

I miss you guys................. too much fuucken work to do :tears:

  13. Nope... the choruse esp is annoying... it sounds like a cat screeching when its on heat (whatever that sounds like)...

Yeah, I don't know if it was just the version I heard but I said to Kenzie "it's Mika the Squeaker!" and turned it off. I'm sure it sounded great if you were there and that the album version will do it more justice....

    Kelty ....

I dont know the reasons , but Im guessing reading all the Europe reports is a total pisser :boxed:

Ive said this before , the Aussie thread is a huge massive part of the MFC culture , and you are a huge and loved part of it too.

Im not sure what else to say , apart from I so hope he plays Australia and more than that I hope you decide to come back

I feel you are a massive loss to us , with us being the MFC

Ill say no more as I dont know the reasons , I will miss you hugely :emot-sad:
