Isn't starting for a week? Mine started today. So i'm taking Eng comp and Phy. Since i haven't been at school overt he summer , i'm glad i'm starting off slow as opposed to just jumping into a kitchen class.

A new project is about to begin!!

 

I know that sounds absolutely crazy because two projects have only JUST been handed in, but Carmel (ThatRadFreak) came out with such an awesome idea, and such a thoughtful one too, and I thought it deserved to be heard good, loud and proper.

 

We're all Mika fans for a start, we love the man to bits. He's talented, makes great songs and creates his own music. However, he has help.

 

He has his band.

 

We've all given gifts to Mika because yes, he is amazing, but so are his band as well and we can't leave them ignored! I know some of you have given them small gifts but I also think it would be a nice idea to give them all an official project present, because after all, without them, Mika is just a one man show (not that we mind lol but they really bring it together, it's team work you know!).

 

Carmel and I were thinking of giving them one book each.

 

We would like to give it to them in December, as Carmel and I are both going to Hammersmith Apollo.

OMGS, i'm soooo "in".

Hun, i saw Fortune at the GMA and at the Highline and he doesn't look like Mika. I can't really see who the boy is in that video but Fortune is a lot fatter(meaning filled out evenly) than Mika and as i remember it, he's a bit taller than him.

I'm in love with the band!!! Thats the title of the video i was going to make for them. Yeah, because i really liked them when i met them and i appreciate them so much. I was actually going to wear a shirt with that title on it. But yeah, a book sounds good too.

Yay!! Cherisse and the band are on vacation. i bet they are happier then i am. Yes, no more MIka News for now. Awww, i can get away from the MFC for a couple of weeks and return to my life. hehehe, school started today, what can i say.

The band DO get on together really well. Luke has a very quick sense of humour. Very quick.

He told me that Mika had always wanted to work with HIM :-))

 

It's taken me a long time to read this thread, but I've made it. I now understand the pink posters with messages on, and the reason for the private afternoon gig. How generous and thoughtful of Mika.

 

I think the tone of the thread was really lowered by the moaning about what, for most fans on here, would be a dream. Mistaken for a member of the gang, hanging out with the band, Mika's family and the background people, getting the chance - several chances - to meet and speak to Mika, giving gifts and getting autographs. What more were you looking for? Declarations of undying love?

Moriina, Jack and kk, thank you so much for saying what i wanted to. I'm surprised that people were still asking questions/talking about it when i finished. I in no way was trying to lower this thread with my report. Its just that, "my report" written in the way that i warned everyone that i write"exactly the way i remember it". Oh well you can't please everyone. But i apologize for anyone who feels disheartened by what i wrote. I had no intention of doing that.

And yes, i am married, happily, i might add.

Oh yeah, i'm loving this thread! Its veryu appropriate.

I don't know all the mods but i have seen them all do their stuff and i'd have to say, without them the MFC wouldn't be the same. I don't know who chooses them but i give huge props to whoever that is. LOVE, LOVE, THe MOds!!!!
