Ok you guys,
I just got back from the cd-store and I bought my copy of Live In Cartoon Motion
Yihaaa
I'll start watching it RIGHT NOW
Let me know what you think about it!!!!!
(never been so excited as I'm now.......)
greetz,

Let's complete the list a little further:
DON'T:
- jump him
- faint (cause you'll miss al the fun)
- fall over you shoelaces
- hug him without permission, you might end up embaressed
- try to sing love today like you mean it... same scenario: verrrry embarassing
DO's:
(I have no idea, never met him... did think about it though)
- tell him what particular part of the show you like, it might be more interesting for him to hear then just say you loved the whole thing (which you secretly obviously do...)
- ask him when he comes back
- ask him whether he liked the audience (but he will be polite and say yes offcourse)
further comments?
greetz!

I read the whole thread, not much new things to add:
I agree: Mika's not a childrens-performer, he's a young, healthy guy with (what I believe) a typical sense of humour for his age.
The dance is funny for kids because they only see animals moving, it's funny for teenagers because they see what really happens, it's funny for die-hard-fans 'cause they understand the idea behind it (the lollipop-message)
and I lasts only 1 tiny second.
I love it!
-
Well I have absolutely no idea... I dunno if there are going to be a lot of people going early since it's a school/work day, but f*ck college, i skip the whole day
Don't worry, I have the same plan...
-

And really good fries. (patat as we used to say in Noord-Brabant)!
god, you're right! (and indeed, you call it patat... I always found that very funny, because een patat is a patatoe for us)
-
Amazing chocolate and beer ,,,, you dont need anything else
that's a nice way of looking at things! Next time we hear the gouvernment-talk on the news again, I'll tell myself: beer, chocolate, beer, chocolate,...
Sounds like a plan isn't it?
-
Amazing chocolate though
well that's a fact
and no complaints about our beer either!
-
lol omg, I only just now saw love today on tele here for the first time!!!
Belgium is soooo behind we didn't even get big girl yet, allthough I think that's never gonna be released here
...
I know, I saw it too... To sum up:
Belgians are:
-losers for sueing other Mika's
-waaaaaaaay behind
-and we don't succeed in forming a gouvernment (but that's a whole other deal)
God, we're pathetic....
-
I was like, what the hell and he was like, I missed you and I was like, go miss yourself.
Ok, I give up, this is too much :roftl:
-
well it was speculated it may also have been about acceptance from his family
wich made people think of his sexuality
that's indeed what I made of it. But again, it's only guessing. And if it's really so, I think he did an amazing job putting so strong lyrics in a happy-happy song, singing it night after night.
but this whole conversation as waaaaaaaaaaaaay out of knitting-topic
-
I thought the story behind stuck in the middle is kept secret !
Thanks for this one!
I always thought these troops were about typical teenager-difficulties he had with his parent growing up... so more 'against' them.
-
I can live without that kind of thread
well I was going to suggest the FACE ,but then realised the guy had no interest in taing pics of it
strange guy... sometimes it's hard to understand someone.
So he really had NO pictures of his face??? He looked at his pictures at the end of the concert and decided to throw all the ones with a face on out or something
(I was joking about a body-part thread, don't worry )
-
I saw (and taped) on the 24th of may this year on MTV. Still enjoy to watch it regurlarly!
yeah, and now I keep on watching TMF, hoping to see it again... But no luck so far.
I did see GK 5 times, so no complaining here
-
a bit off-topic, but yesterday I saw Love Today on TMF, and I swear that was the first time EVER!!
So I'm hoping that they're promoting him some more for the upcoming TMF-awards.... pleeeeeaaase....
-
um... yeah.
about the reason why it was taken though, i think i once saw a similar one somewhere on the mfc, and the mfc member who took it didn't mean to, it was sth like mika moving too fast for her camera to follow. anyway that's what she said.
yeah right, nice saving
anyways, I'm off to bed
see ya
-
yeah....especially when i really id think it was that and SANG that line. i got stared at a lot. and now my friends and i will just randomly burst simultainiously into 'but my shorts are bigger than yours!'. its greart fun!
I used to do that when I was younger and when I didn't understand English at all. When I heared the songs later, I finally understood what they were saying... and I realised what I had been singing all the time
hilarious!
imagine having a fight with someone, and he says: "you know what? My shorts are bigger than yours" I would be like... euh.... huh???
-
lol....just me then! i ALWAYS giggle at that line......hehehehe
and then people around you don't understant what the hell is going on?
oh sweet misunderstanding:blush-anim-cl:
-
me neither...but some things really lack a good reason
I mean for crying out loud,if you need to,take a pic of smth more visible :roftl:
Take a pic of his bellybutton
shall we start suggesting the parts that should be photographed? (oh god, another thread like that:wink2: :wink2: )
bellybutton: fine by me!
-
hey stein, you know your siggie? did you ever think he was saying 'my shorts are bigger than yours'?
HAHA no, I never did... but next time I'll hear SITM I will probably giggle a bit at that part
Imagine if he would sing that
*visualizes the shorts.... and the shorter shorts*
(ps: jihaa, finally, my 100 post!)
-
well the guy that made it was prob convinced it's worth the effort
I'm missing the purpose for wich it was actually taken, but hey, that's just me
no problem, you're not the only one
(and I don't even concider myself narrow-minded)
-
well let's call it , lacking respect
WAHAAA, yep it's pretty out of line... why would you make the effort? It's probably not so easy to make this picture, I mean, you have to hold your camera still, choose your angle, zoom, .... COME ON!!!
-
I'd like to share smth with you
share ahead
always happy to see thing I didn't see before
btw, the Sweet Dreams video is something lots of us dream about
-
ironic that its in Belguim...I wonder if that other chick is going to try to get Mika un-nominated...
I bet she would...
haha, I was thinking the same thing
But hey, this is a way to purify our image as Mika-hating country!
vote you people, vote!!!

what can I say?
I love it love it love it!
Not so much new things in the documentary when it comes to learning new things about Mika BUT it seems very honest. He's not like 'ow everything is soooo amazing, there are no side effects,...' That makes it all very real. There are some funny pieces, like the one where he asks Mikey whether the green thing he bought was a wallet or a purse... well, I cannot just recite it, just watch and enjoy
About the concert...... WOW!!!! I've seen so many youtube-concerts but this one's absolutely smashing.
The energy, the audience, the atmosphere....
It is just mindblowing and I watched the whole thing without blinking my eyes
The live versions are ones that we know: the Jools Holland performance and two other song (well, you recognise it when you see it)
haaa... I'm still on cloud nine
Can't wait till tuesday when I FINALLY get to see him live
greetz,
-Stien-
