  1. ROFL!!!!

I have to refer you back to a previous post when someone said if Mika wore a tshirt with 'I'm a flaming poof' on it, you would all say, 'well....that might not mean he's actually gay'!!!

We'll just have to wait for the papps to get a pic of him in a nightclub snogging some guy.......although you will all come on here and say it's probably his cousin and the snogging is some traditional Lebanese greeting.

God, you're SO right! :roftl: But people only believe what they want to believe isn't it.

By the way, I think Perez answer was very good. He was asked the gay-question, and he said 'I placed him under gaygaygay'. It's very nice of him to say that because in this way he never says: "Yeah, offcourse Mika's gay". He answers the question without making an explicit statement about Mika. I think it's good!

  2. Is anyone surprised?! :roftl:

    But seriously---

I feel happy, if anything. I think it's cute. :original: I support him and think it's great. :thumb_yello:

To be honest... I hope there are not too many people who are completely shocked. Because it really isn't a shocking thing to be gay. Pfjoew!

I'm not surprised anyway, and if you want loads of other speculation, there were many threads about this before with valid points.

And about the 'I'm a poof'-Tshirt: I think you're actually right. There's people that just don't want to believe anything else than him being straight. I'd say: go ahead if it makes you feel better, but you must ask yourself what difference it makes.

(nice closet-picture by the way :roftl: )

  3. I pointed out that there are more Mika's than only Mika and if should sue them as well if she wants to take it that far. I mentioned it's his real name. I also mentioned that it's not his fault that her career doesn't go so well and that she can't blame him for that, plus I said that she would hurt so many people if she would make Mika cancel the gig in Vorst. And I kinly requested her to please think abut it before she'll do anything.

let's hope it will make a difference... my troops are bigger that her's:sneaky2:

  4. no!! we all need to chip in!!! And we need to send something to the record company!!!

THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT MIKA AND ER, MIKA! THIS IS ABOUT THE FANS!!!!

CANCELLING MIKA'S GIG IN VORST WILL MEAN REFUNDING A FULL HOUSE!!!! LOADS OF FANS ARE GOING TO BE EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTED, UPSET AND FUMING!!!!!

SHE HAS TO REALISE THAT THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT HER!!!!! SELFISH COW!!!!!! SHE EVEN SAID HERSELF SHE WASNT DOING THAT WELL IN SALES AND BLAMES IT ON MIKA, SO THIS IS BLATES A PUBLICITY STUNT JUST TO GET HER NAME OUT THERE AGAIN!!!

sorry for all the caps and whatever but i am majorly PISSED OFF!!!!!!

and you don't even have to live with the shame of being a Begian :wink2:

  5. yep, but they are reality :-)

Elton John used to be a LOT slimmer too... Let's talk about a shirtless Mika again in 15 years :wink2:

When he's been eating hotel-food for a decade... It's a good thing he jumps the whole performance long, so he doesn't have to worry about an extra beer.

(gosj this sounds very superficial, doens't it?)

  6. He is probably just about right at the moment - I personally wouldn't want him bulking up any more, though he probably can't do anything about it, I mean, I can't imagine that he's pumping iron at the gym every day or anything!

Or has he just been eating all the pies?? I often wonder who it is:naughty:

But to answer Freddie's question, IMO yes he has a good body with shirt off, he has enough muscle definition, broad shoulders and a toned tum without the horrible obvious six-pack some people think is chickeny. (Why am I suddenly thinking of Peter Andre circa 1994?)

I hope this discussion of Mika's bod doesn't qualify as Chicken-object talk! It's purely an anatomical appraisal:thumb_yello: I Respect Mika.

Don't worry, I don't think every opinion about one's body has to be Chicken-ish. I do like his body too, especially because is looks natural, and healthy. I mean: a sixpack is not natural, it's saying: 'hey, look at me, I've been working out". And a very big body, with love-handles (do you know this expression) is not very attractive either when it's jumping up and down without a shirt. (try to visualize it... )

EDIT: I'm not saying that extra kilo's are bad by the way...If Mika was superbig and he still sang like he does now, I'd still be in front row :bleh:

  7. yeah, but you know what?

For people who actually saw these early performances, the difference is HUGE, but, people who only got to know him in his 'new' style, still describe him as the tall, skinny guy with the weird moves and the funny clothes. I mean, for them he's still different from the others. So even if he became more mainstream, to appeal to a broader audience, he's still concidered a 'left of center' artist, you know, the weird one.

And I think he's too much 'himself' to turn into a complete mainstream artist. He will never be.

What do I like the most? I loooooooved the KOKO performance: he had more confidence then in the Ronny-showcase-thing (I don't remember the exact name), but it was without ripping the clothes off.

But!!!! I'm also verrrry excited about the Somerset gig, with the masks and the circusmaster-clothes. It's not shy at all, but it matches sooooo good with the album.

Well, so far for my 2c

  8. heys ... awesome forum

    glad to have joined

not big on speeches (although i must say i love the spotlights :wink2: )

i think mika is so great bc of how he stands out from every other artist out there be it with his voice, songs or appearance :thumb_yello:

ps. am desperately searching for tickets to the show in Brussels- id love u forever if u could help me out :biggrin2:

pps: loved the book u guys made mika :mf_rosetinted:

Hi! Welcome to the forums! I think you'll love it here! Are you Belgian? I wish I could help you with the tickets, but I'm afraid I can't help. I heard there are some way-too-expensive ones on eBay, but I have no extra ticket left myself. Good luck with your search!

  9. I've downloaded a bootleg of Freddie's first-ever demo so I've typed up the lyrics.

    "Under My Armpit"

    Under my armpit, sweating away,

Feels like I'm smelling, losing my friends,

    Hot and wet,

    Hot and wet.

Fork out my perspiration, torture my neighbours,

It seems like I’ve lost my deodorant, far out of sight,

    Hot,

    Drunk,

    Tired,

    Lost.

    Under my armpit, sweating away,

Feels like I'm smelling, losing my friends,

    Hot, wet,

    Hot and wet.

Fork out my perspiration, torture my neighbours,

It seems like I’ve lost my deodorant, far out of sight,

    Hot,

    Drunk,

    Hot and drunk.

:roftl::lmao: oh god, I think I died a little reading this

But indeed, are you sure it was torture my neighbours? I always thought it was 'poking my neighbours', you know, with the deodorant

EDIT: hmmm, no that's impossible  what was I thinking....

  10. gossip gossip gossip ...

    actually, I couldn't care less!

    (so why am I posting here?:boxed: )

I wonder what these journalists do all day long... getting a tiny bit of information, then sit around the table and decide what story they're gonna make of it...

it's sounds like fun to me! Letting your imagination free.

(but it's a shame that there are people who actually believe this crap)

  11. you forgot Rilo and Gustav :naughty:

    oh and yeah, lookovermyshoulder ^^

but are you serious? do you really suspect Jo to be 'a Mika insider'..? :lmfao: (oh God I just love that very strange 'expression' people tend to use when discussing these matters! xD it means nothing and anything..! :lmao:)

If you're going to suspect everyone whos posts are relatively normal, then you've got yourself a few thousand suspects missy xD

I know  It's not a serious accusation by the way... just a thought that crossed my mind. It was also off-topic :blush-anim-cl:

but hey, there is such a thing as freedom of speech AND freedom of thoughts :wink2: You have to forgive me, I have been reading this forum too much, it corrupts the mind

  12. are you calling me a brat now too..!?

    you've got some nerve

you're right, this is a really weird post :lmao:

so, what are you saying, that the big M is now also Jo? :lmfao:

Oh God, that man, he's taking identity mad to a whole other level with all these accounts,..! :lmao:

I have no idea! But I think someone's having a good laugh:wink2: Maybe it's not the big M, but I'm afraid that a lot of people here on this forum are inspired by search for HIM.

But! I find this post more suspicious than the ones from Chew chew, LOMS, twiglet, deek (am I forgetting one?) because this one is pretending to be 'normal' :glasses2:

So Jo, if you could just show us one of your knitting-works, we'll believe you right away. If you don't....:boxed:

  13. I know this is the wrong thread for this....

But what if Jo is.... *hesitates*hmmmmm.... someone else, playing us?should I make this accusation?

No, I should keep my words... (And Jo, if you're really into knitting, I'm very sorry for doubting you)

hm, this is a weird post :bleh:

  14. i think that has happened already... iit is kinda putting me off. and its just gonna get worse

You probably have a point. BUt I have to say: when I arrived here the first time, it felt really strange to read all these post of people who seemed to be connecting very well (am I saying that right?) I mean: lot's of inside jokes, lot's of 'hi guys, I'm back' 'oooh, finally, we've missed you'

I was surprised to see that, and it is not very easy to find a place for yourself in this crazy little world. Don't take this wrong! I've been welcomed and I don't feel like a complete outcast or something, but it's a bit like starting in a new class where all the other students already know eachother.

But I would like to say: don't be afraid of new people to come here: new subgroups will be formed, but still with one big common goal: Mika. There's space enough!
