excellent choice. "Take on Me" would be my first choice too. The very first video I saw as a young girl was "Too Bad" by Doug & The Slugs (Canadian band). It's sooo funny, it's finally on Youtube now. Also like "If This Is It" by Huey Lewis & The News. Have too many on my Youtube account to list them all. Mostly 80's Canadian artists/bands. Love The Spoons, Saga, Triumph, Kim Mitchell/Max Webster, Loverboy, April Wine, Trooper ....... Of course all Mika videos are on my top list now and forever. The Original '80's Girl

I've just bought 3 different shirts that have hearts all over them because they are totally "me" but also because they remind me of Mika. Isn't it funny that he's now inspired us fashion wise too. It's also funny that we all talk Mika by saying we're MFCers and that something is LICMish. What a cult.

Anyone know where we could get this on the other side of the pond? Like in Canada (or US)? I'm 10 minutes from Buffalo, NY (on the Canadian side) so any help in finding this or any other Mika shirts would be much appreciated.

That's so weird because I'm 42 and my teenagers all think I'm nuts because I'm obsessed with Mika. They threaten to throw my CD out the window every time I play it, which is all the time. I've been listening to it non-stop for over 2 months now. I've had all the young girls in my church group act out the song "Grace Kelly" for our skit at girl's camp and taught it to a bunch of other girls at a youth conference that I was a "House Mommy" for at the University of Toronto last week. They all think I'm crazy too. Maybe it's a good thing I'm not your mother. 2 Mika freaks in the same house would be too much.

Count me in for the Canadian group. I am the original '80's girl from Niagara. I actually lived through them. I still have the '80's hair thing going too. I graduated high school the year Mika was born. I was so happy that he said, on GMA yesterday, that all the good singers came out of the '70's and '80'. FINALLY! someone that thinks like me. Mika's the only singer I've been this excited about in 20 years. Thanks for letting us "old" girls in the group. We love him as much as you all do. Can't wait for him to come back to Canada.

I'm still crying over Aug. 10 being cancelled in Montreal but will be online trying for tickets for Cdn. Idol as soon as Ticketmaster opens. Is there a group or bunch going from the Toronto area? I'm in Niagara so I've already booked the day off work for Aug.28 and will be driving up for the day.

I thought the first time I heard Mika was when a friend at work pointed out his song on the radio. We both work in heaven, by the way, a chocolate store in Niagara, Ontario. We both bought the CD and have been listening to it ever since. I have also addicted another friend and have caused many people to listen, willing or unwilling. My teenage son threatens to throw the CD out the window at least once a day. It will be a long summer for him since I just can't stop listening to it. The song on the radio was "Grace Kelly" but after listening to the CD I realised that I have been playing "Relax" at our youth dances for a while now. I volunteer as the DJ and didn't even know that I had already heard Mika back in March. As for the video playing in the movie theatres, another friend, that is also now addicted, said she first saw it at the show too. They play it a lot before the movies here in Niagara. These same friends and I were leaders for a girl's camp last week and we had our girls join us in a totally crazy rendition of "Grace Kelly". We acted it out like the video using glow sticks and coloured pom-poms for each colour. It was a huge hit that cause the camp director to ask the girls what they had been feeding their leaders to get them to dance around like that. I totally lucked out and saw the ad on "The Ultimate Canadian Mika Fansite" for the concert on Aug. 10 in Montreal. I quickly ordered tickets for my friend and I and was thrilled when they arrived in the mail last week. We are #49 & #50 so I think I must have seen that ad as soon as it was posted. We are soooooo excited and counting the days, 31 now! Can't wait!! There is something addictive about Mika's voice and his whole sweet personality. We can't stop watching interviews and videos on Youtube of him.
