  1. I just got back from seeing 'The Boat That Rocked'. Awesome movie with awesome music! It was a little long, which was emphasised by my extreme need for the toilet but not wanting to leave and miss anything.

Oh, and SD, you'd better give :das: a call or I'll be coming over there with a wet noodle :naughty:

    Wet noodle? :naughty:

OH MY ****ING GOD, SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME RIGHT NOW THAT THERE IS SOMETHING VERY TEMPORARILY WRONG WITH HOTMAIL AND I WILL HAVE MY EMAIL BACK VERY SOON AND EVERYTHING WILL STILL BE THERE!!!?!?!?!?!!?

It's telling me I don't have an email account, and asking me to sign up for one. I DON'T BLOODY WELL WANT TO SING UP FOR A NEW EMAIL, I WANT MY OLD ONE. No no no no no, where did it go? I have WAY too much extremely important information stored in my emails

Well... I just check and my Hotmail account seems to be fine.

:naughty: My mum's grasp of the english language never fails to amuse me.

    :roftl:

  2. I forgot to tell you all! Yesterday in assembly the drama class in my year did a little performance and they used 'Love Today'.

    *Preppy girly squeal*

    OOOHHH! who's :das: ????

I offered my crush my pencil sharpener today, biggest move since asking him if his lab exploded too :blush-anim-cl:

:naughty: You've never noticed us mention :das: before?

It's somebody. I do not have the authority to give out the information regarding his name (although I'm pretty sure some people already know it from my previous security lapses).

Aww! I hope he accepted your pencil sharpener. :naughty:

  3. I'm glad to hear most of you like turkish delight. Oakie Doke just isn't sophisticated enough. :naughty:

I just got back from interviews which all went pretty well. My English teacher was like "you're probably the best in the class but you need to try and be a bit more like :das:"

I just smiled and nodded. :naughty:

  4. Hello all!

In relation to your talk about Cadbury eggs, today in English extension the teacher brought a bag of caramel, turkish delight and normal milk chocolate eggs. Which were very nice! And we discovered that the four of us in that class are pretty much the only people we know who like turkish delight. Every other time we share chocolates with other people we get to eat all of the turkish delight but this time we had to make it even!:naughty:

Does anybody like turkish delight here?

No school tomorrow because of parent/teacher/student interviews! :groovy:

Oakie Doke, that last picture doesn't look particularly appetising. :naughty:

  5. And I take it it was good?

I'm feeling like I accomplished nothing today.

I think I'll go and practice my ukulele now.

Yep, for the most part! For my normal subjects I got all A's and a B for religion. And then for the extensions I got a B for english and a C for maths! :biggrin2:

William Carlos Williams. I love his poem "The Red Wheelbarrow"

    *cough*

    So much depends

    upon

    a red wheel-

    barrow

    glazed with rain

    water

    beside the white

    chickens

    (though I don't know why)

:naughty: Yes, I talked about that one in my speech. Which went quite well.

And guess what! The teacher spoke to us after everyone had finished and said that :das:'s speech was the best. And everyone else thought this was really unfair because his was really unorganised. It was good but it certainly wasn't the best.

    Damn you :das:

    :naughty:

  6. I swear about 95% of the people who come to the checkout where I work say something along the lines of, 'I think I have everything, but I know I'll remember something as soon as I get home..'

And the thing is, you have to pretend that they're really funny every single time.[/color]

HI hate when someone asks "Are you open?" when the gate is open, the light for your register is on and you're looking at them waiting :sneaky2:...

People can be so stupid sometimes...

Or they start unloading their cart when the CLOSED sign is on the belt...

OR they put the basket on the belt and don't bother to unload it for you. :sneaky2:

    YES!!!

I hate that!!!! Especially the basket thing!

I really hate when you are really polite and customers are rude back to you...

God, yes!! And the thing is, where I work prides itself on good customer service, so you have to remain friendly at all times...it's practically in the job description...so it's all, 'I'm really sorry' for stuff you didn't do and 'Is there anything else I can help you with' etc etc etc etc.

The story of my life. :naughty:

  7. Hello all!

I haven't been around since I left for retreat on Wednesday so I hope everyone is great! Retreat was wonderful. Lots of tears, hugging, sharing and loving and everyone became a lot closer. On the last day we spent a few hours writing messages/affirmations to people in the year to tell them how much they mean to us, etc. And then we got to read them all on the bus during the trip home. It was so lovely!

I kind of-sort of told :das: how I feel in the one I wrote to him. And I was hoping one of us would mention it today but it didn't end up happening. But he didn't act weird at all, which is a positive I suppose. And just so you don't all think I'm a scaredy cat anymore, I did actually try ringing on Sunday. But nobody picked up.

    So there. :naughty:
