yes, I am talking about the 28th!! I havn't heard the acoustic *makes mental not to go and listen* Brixton on the 28th was my very first gig, and a lot of people have told me I was lucky to have that as my first because it was the best - all I know is that it was incredible! At the start of the encore he wasn't singing - various people say various things as to why - but his face was a mixture of startlement and happiness because the whole crowd (including me ) was singing for him!!! It was fun, the whole crowd singing "took her right, to the end of the line where no one ever goes...." etc and then when it got to "relax" he seemed quite amused that we were all attempting to hit the high note without him!

Aww! They weren't great, just what I thought... I think the MFC is like a big family! We are all so different, but with one huge thing in common - its great really!

I am going to give my two cents, although I probably think my views have already been expressed somewhere in this thread, but hey.... Everyone goes through changes in order to find themselves. I think that Mika has already "found himself" as such, but it is still healthy to go through changes because otherwise life would be incredibly boring. However, I don't think Mika has even gone through many changes and the ones he has gone through aren't major either. His hair is shorter, but everyone needs a hair cut every now and again, and for what it is worth I think it looks nicer anyway! Yes, less "sexy" but he still looks great! I admit, I miss his braces and the skinny jeans although I am sure he still wears them! For example, he wears the black skinnys with the glittery stripes down them for concerts - he wore them for one of the last concerts at the end of February, which wasn't that long ago at all. Anyway, whats the big deal with a polo shirt? He carries it off marvelously well, better than any man I can think of, and the heart adds that "Mika-ness" that quite a few people here are saying has gone. Someone else said (sorry I cant remember who) that his reactions to questions are still the same and his gestures and faces, which suggests that inside he hasnt changed one single bit. Look at the pictures in my signature, all 3 facial expressions make him look exactly the same as he always has been! JackViolet said somewhere that he is getting older and you can't stay exactly the same as you get older and one day he has to grow up. This is true, because he is getting older, and this is reflected in his looks (the longer hairstyle - which I do miss - made him look more care-free if you know what I mean) and more importantly in his music. Some of his music is more dark in the lyrics than they were before, if you understand?! So yes, sorry for my rant, Mika is getting older which means change, and come on, its not like he has changed his whole face?!!! He is just wearing different styles (although he still wears his old ones), he has had his hair cut (although that will grow back) He is still our old Meeks that we all love!! Catherine xxx

Hey Mici! The live version is great, because its the first number! Thats my favourite part of the show when he emerges from the shadows!!! When he did it for an encore at Brixton the crowd was electric - chessy as it sounds!

I am veyr interested as to what people think of this song, because I am in the Relax mug for the bday project, so whatever people think of this song will be very helpful to me! Yes, your idea makes sense....I think the lyrics are sad I suppose but I dont think they're as sad as some of the other songs he has written, eg Any Other World, My Interpretation, Over My Shoulder etc. This song for me is definitely one of the main ones that makes me want to scream and shout and jump up and down for Mika joy!

I know, the piano one is bad! In My Interpretation the words ARE: "Its really not such a sacrifice" However the book says "Its really not such a sad day if I..." lol!

I am probably totally wrong, but I always interpreted it as when you love someone because you have to...the phrase "you cant choose your family" comes to mind. This is because of the phrase "the persepective of a boy...who's learnt to love you but has also learnt to grow" Also, from then on he seems to critisize this, I think, family member. It's also about the underlying album theme of acceptance, well I think its an underlying theme anyway....e.g Grace Kelly, My Interpretation, This, Over My SHoulder, Happy Ending, Your Sympathy etc etc I think of accpetance when it says "is there anybody home? who will believe me, wont decieve me, wont try to change me?" anway, thats my interpretation! Anybody elses?

Definitely unsubtle - it looks as if he has a tennis ball down there - euggh - I personally doubt this very much , although thanks for posting, it made me laugh!! If he did this it would seriously make me doubt what I have believed - that he actually has a lot of self respect and sticks to what he believes him.....

Or if anyone wants another alternative I use vixy ( http://www.vixy.net ) I dont know if zamzar does this (sorry I didnt look) but if you're lazy (like me) with vixy you dont have to do the 2 steps from mpeg to flv, and then flv to mp3, vixy just does mpeg to mp3. Seriously I get really worried about myself as a computer geek 'cause I'm only fourteen yet I go around talking about converting mpeg to mp3 as if it were common knowledge....anyway...moving on....

I think most people here write.....it might be a Mika inspired thing or not I think your fab! Much better than me! lol I dont mind that I'm not great though because in the words of Mika "I write for me"
