Why not just use it to mean the two things it means in the dictionary? "Merry" and "pertaining to same-sex romantic interest"?

I think daniel johns has one of the most beautiful voice of all time, he can actually sing everything so perfectly well, I've always been amazed by the fluidity of his voice, he is also one of the best songwriter ever, his lyrics are really great, johns is a writer and a great singer....I've been following all their career ...the mucic is not always what I prefer, but just for the voice and the writing of johns i could die..

I would suggest that you be careful about calling something "gay" and using it to mean something "sucks", is "stupid", or whatever the case may be.

 

It is in the same vein as calling something that you don't like "retarded", or, for another example, saying you bargained a seller for a lower price meant that you "Jewed him down" to a lower price.

 

It's considered impolite, and is often considered offensive - there are tons of better words you could use to get your point across, m'dear.

oh really, is it so?? I also use the word gay when I mean somethg is extraordinary differently amazing beautiful and gergeous....do you think I should stop to use it in that way too???

I'm not one who normally cares to be politically correct, but....perhaps what you mean is that you need to improve your communication skills, and choose your words a little better...

 

I'm sorry, I can't join either. First of all, I am not skinny, (for several years now), but even if I was, I don't know that I'd want to be grouped in terms of physical appearance. I understand how you feel the need to bring some equality into this because of the big girls group, but I didn't join that group either - even when I know I'd like to lose some weight.

Butterfly symbolizes beauty and grace.... Hippo... NOT SO NICE! So I do not see the contrast! I can see using HIPPO if the Butterfly Lounge was called Emancipated Lounge perhaps....

butterflies are light = the opposite of someone heavy

hippos are heavy= the opposite of someone skinny

and I feel ok with my weight and like the song too, it was just like something funny...it can be funny, just like your fat club you know...you gave me the idea...

lol, no, of course not!!! you dont get it plus my english is so gay...it's just that the butterfly lounge was named this way to provoke a contrast ( a butterfly is not heavy but only fat gils are allowed) that's the same for hippos, the hippos are NOT the fat girls but the skinny ones...get it??

for the girls like me who will never be allowed to enter in the Butterfly Lounge, here is The Hip (stands for hippopotamus) lounge, a place where all skinny people can xpress themselves freely without being judged for their weight...

here you can talk about how it feels

- everytime you hear Big Girl or

- everytime Mika ask the audience "is there any big girls, is there any big girls" and you feel like a complete outsider or

- how you forced yourself to eat pizzas and hamburgers and quit macrobiotic in order to become fat and to go on stage/exhibtions with him but it never worked out

etc.

im glad to be here, there are no many fans of mika in mexico ((at least as far as i know)) , most people only know his song "grace kelly" and nothing else about him, and that's sad

yeah of course it's whore...as soon as he can Mika syas "whore",ever noticed?? or hooker also...(he was once a whore in HJ, a downright whore here etc) he must love this word a lot...it's a strong powerful word to use in lyrics and god knows how his lyrics are powerful...the way he sings whore is beautiful, when I say that the guy can turn anything naughty ino sthg pretty...

I just came in since I left the No-D thread (since you softly took me by the hand to leave it) and was trying to catch up with all the new posts here...as I was reading that people wanted to close this topic I was thinking " Oh no!! that's a kool one, why to close it??!!!" and what/who do I find around??? My baby!!

Searching for new accounts won't result in you now being "friends" with someone that you didn't know before.

I dont agree. On my myspace I have some unofficial accounts of "famous" people which I'm space friends with by now and it's kool, it's only human that people who like the same things can become (new) friends.

And to all the people who emailed the God himself, just dont feel guilty, it's just all a game, I remember (the team of) Lindsay L writing on the official space of Mika...the girl fancies him, what's wrong?

And about the blogs ...lol yeah he should definitely go for a drunk blog, would be fun, that's too bad for us he just wont since he is a freak control, I so wish he wouldnt be one and would go for it, it could be so much fun!!
