But I've read this venue is a bit shady. That security try to charge people extra who are in line to get in "express", even those with "VIP".

I was talking about the new stage set Mika posted on periscope/Instagram .

Setlist won't be known until Sunday, obviously. And I'm going to try and not peek at it after that in case he switches it up from past tours (not just new songs) After Sunday I'm going to avoid this place. Haha

Anyways, I'm excited for a full Mika show again!

After the symphony shows and the last US "acoustic" tour (even though great!), I'm looking forward to the full energy. And the new set looks great!

NYC plans came to a halt and so I have 1 extra ticket for the Webster Hall show on May 4th.

I might have an extra ticket too when i find out about will call. I bought a ticket through the presale but then remembered what happened at The Fonda how presale/will-call wasn't available until doors....so i panicked and bought a printable ticket during the general sale.

Sorry, i don't have any suggestions. After the brooklyn gig i'm planning on wandering around NYC & drinking lots of coffee with my sister for a couple hours, then staying in the train station until her train leaves. then doing a bit of 5 am sightseeing until it's time to queue. Then after this gig going back to the train station to wait until the first morning train

Haha when did you see him 2 months ago?? I'm from Texas so I've never had a chance to see MIKA before. Thankfully I'm doing an internship in LA and the timing is perfect! I used to be on these forums a lot a few years ago, but I don't know what's been going into the MIKA world lately- does he still stay afterwards and meet his fans?

I went to the OSM shows in Montreal last.

Eh. Not really. I've honestly never seen them worn at all in the 7 years I've been going to shows.

Eh, I bought the signed deluxe box .

I figure, I really only buy this "deluxe" stuff when it comes to Mika and it's not like he's releasing these albums every year. So I threw $73 at it. I just hope the pictures look better than what they sent out with the TOOL "deluxe" bundle.

Amazing week with amazing music and amazing people.

Tonight's show was great. I cried. And the 2nd Elle Me Dit was super fun!

I don't really have any brilliant words to say but that I feel so lucky I was able to make it out here for these shows!! And lucky to meet so many amazing fans throughout the trip! Hope to see you soon, wherever it is Mika takes us!.

The concert was amazing. And yea, like Karin said, it was a different vibe. But a cool different. I am too self concious to be front row, so many I'll loosen up tomorrow a few rows back. Haha

For me Hereos was THE song. Like oh my god are you kidding me. I'm soooo excited to hear it tomorrow. Happy Ending was also a stand out. Seeing it presented that way. I felt like it was a prize for sticking around for all these years. Haha

It was so great meet/talk to a handful of you today and I'm excited to say hi to more tomorrow at the party/show!

Did you get the info re the Grevin, Deb? I have a friend arriving late in the morning - if someone is still setting up this group of wax wanderers, can we please set it up for the afternoon, so she can join us? We could always plan to do lunch before we go, if anyone is OK with that?

I was just wondering when everyone will be arriving/leaving Montreal. I know a few people coming in early in the week, I'm flying in on Saturday before the gigs and leaving on the Saturday (14th = Valentine's day) after the gig.

 

I was wondering if anyone would like to get together during the days or on the free evenings to wander the city, get some lunch, visit tourist spots, check out some pubs, go dancing, go karaoke, or whatever

 

I'm very excited to meet many of you at the big dinner that's in the plans but it sure would be nice to get to know many of you even better when we've got some time just to hang out.

 

This is going to be such a fun trip, I'd just love to make the most of the time I have in Montreal and with/among you all.
