I almost forgot one of the other highlights of the night! The Scottish Sun newspaper had a reporter as a BG, she was there to experience the show and what it was like to be a part of it. She interviewed us all and we also got some pics taken by the photographer who was with her:aah: She was a really nice girl and totally got into the spirit of it.The story will appear in the paper on Wednesday!!! Cant wait

After the Finale went back to dressing room and changed back into our clothes which was rubbish as i loved wearing the BG costume:naughty: Mrs P asked if we could help take the 'heads' down to the storage trunks so they could be put on to the lorry. Once we had done this we waited for a short while and then John came to take us to meet MIKA:mf_lustslow: We went into a room to see him and get our photograph taken as a group, john told us all to give him our cameras and he took all the pictures which i tought was a nice touch. i was satnding right next to MIka and i just looked up at him and said Wow! i knew you were tall but not that tall, after i said it i felt like a bit of a muppet:aah: But then Mika said to me oh! you smell nice what is it it smells like strawberry, i said to him that it was my chewing gum!! ( i felt like a schoolkid caught chewing gum in class) He then asked if he could have some and Anjy got it out my bag for me and gave it to him. Then he randomly siad something about things that taste this good can cause brain damage:boxed: I just sort of laughed in a stupid fangurly sort of way... he took a piece and handed it back and Anjy said he could keep it , he said are you sure and she said yes no problem to which he replied aw thanks, it was such a crazy moment:wub2: after a few more conversations with the other girls (which i'm sure they will tell you about themselves), it was time to leave, i was walking on cloud 9. Just as me and Anjy were walking away he shouted to us thanks for the gum! Ever the polite young man:wub2: So that concludes my report , but i just have to add that i did not believe my first Mika gig would be as amazing as this, i can hons=estly say it has been one of the best nights of my life:wub2:

With our passes having been given to us we were free to go back down stairs and watch the gig. I have to say i thought Eric Hassle was great , he has an amazing voice.! But then it was time for the man himself to come on and i was sooooo excited as this was my first gig!!! Mika was everything (and more) than i could have imagined from the minute he came on stage i was totally in awe! He had so much energy and his vioce is AMAZING:mf_lustslow: I had been looking forward to hear him singing 'Touches You' live as this is my fave at the moment and it was incredible, my eyes were filling with tears just to hear him singing! I loved everything he sung as it was all flawless and done with so much passion and energy. When he started to sing Dr John that was our cue to go back upstairs and get our 'heads on' It was quite scary as it was hard to see where we were going and had quite a few stairs to go down. When we entered the stage Mika was lying on the floor and we had to 'stomp' round him and drop flowers by him then go back off stage. It only lasted a few minutes but was nerve wracking. Then we went back to the dressing room to wait for the finale(about 10 mins) when we all had to go back on stage and dance. Just before we were about to go on stage Mika came out and told us all he wanted us to dance like 'F***ing Maniacs' do everything big and just enjoy ourselves. Well needless to say this is exactly what we did. It was quite difficult though as we still had our 'heads' on'. At one point i was actually dancing with martin, he was playing the guitar and bumping my hips!!! It was FAB! The next minute i had an arm round me and i saw it was the new keyboard player (who, for the life of me i cant remember his name at moment sorry.) and i was dancing with him too, then all the confetti ,glitter ballons and stuff came down and i knew that it was all nearly over. We then all had to line up with the band and take a bow which was just unbelievable as i felt it really made us part of the 'show'. I will never forget that moment as long as i live:wub2:

ok Here goes! My sister Anjy and i arrived at venue about 3.45, there were only 14 people in front of us, i was expecting there to be more people so was quite pleased we were near front of queue. We met Sheena,Rose and laurel i was quite relieved to see some fellow MFC'ers. At about 4.15 John came out and asked if anyone wanted to be bg/lg, me and anjy jumped at the chance. Also Sparkly1, Jazzy,Pamette,French deb volunteered too. It was all quite surreal, we entered the venue and were offered tea coffee etc while we were waiting for Mikas mum to come and see if we were 'suitable'. Luckily for us all we got 'the parts', and were very excited. (understatement of the century). Then Mrs P went through some choreography with us which was hysterical as we had to act like 'zombie/sleleton' people!!! Then we were taken to a dressing room and allocated our costumes, once this was sorted out we were offered refreshments then went back downstairs and listened to the soundcheck which in itself was awsome!. A short while later we went back to the dressing room and got into our costumes and were told we could put our coats on to cover up and go and watch the show. (some one stop me if i'm rambling)

:thumb_yello:Yep, we're twins, it's me and my twin Anjy. Going to try and port some sort of report now, but you will all have to be patient as i can hardly string 2 words together never mind trying to put them into some sort of order:naughty:

Defo!!! Just think of the atmosphere of us scots singing in the street. (well actualy nothin new there then)

I was reading back through this thread earlier an saw the thing bout the O2 sim card, do you think it's worth gettin one.

Wot bout you when are you going. I just saw the weather report an its supposed to snow on sunday. (crap) I think if we go too early we'll end up wi hypothermia:naughty:

Dont know yet, asked rose earlier an she said maybe people gettin ther around 10ish, but i think thats too early for us, due to babysittin will prob be about 2 hopefully.
