i think i remember him saying in the muchmusic interview that "stuck in the middle" was about his mother and grandmother and growing up.

 

personally, i've always thought it had to do with him being "stuck in the middle" of what is expected out of him and his own decisions. like, he is caught between differences of what his parents think/want and what he thinks/wants. the way i interpret it is he is growing up, and like he said in the interview, comes to the realization that parents are people too. like, that sounds dumb, but seeing them in a different more "adult" light. i don't know if that makes sense. but it's just what i get from the song.. especially reading these lyrics:

i've been wondering what the song was all about.the first time i heard it,i thought it was of the same subject as 'grace kelly',but when i read the lyrics i had 2nd thoughts bout the meaning.it's pretty abstract.of all the interpretations of the song,i think yours is quite accurate.thanks for sharing your point of view!it does sound like he's being ignored,just coz he's the middle child.and no,it DOES make sense coz i'm starting to get it.

i was just browsing in youtube and i found this really awesome video of this singer's(i forgot the singer's name,sorry..lol) fans.the fans introduced themselves one by one by including their full name,their nickname,where they're from and how they first discovered about the singer.why don't we do that,too?you know,record a video of ourselves and combine them altogether?i'll be the host and do all the remixing and combining stuff.so,whoever wants to be in just pm me and i'll give you all the details you can also sing any of mika's songs from your personal favourite choices,or just do anything.show off your talent,your favorite hangout place,your pets etc.interested?

i think mika's voice is a bit identical to the vocalist of this band called 'muse',only the fact that he's got a greater octave power

when i first heard grace kelly,i thought it was one of muse's

I never thought about the fact they could use Mika's music for ballet,

but, it happened!

My little sister does classical ballet and in a few months they have a performance. But now they wanted to do something new. So they do a special pop performance. One group of older girls (I think 15/16 or something like that) are gonna dance on Happy Ending. And another group, the group where my little sister is in (girls from 8/11 years I think ) are gonna dance on Love Today! Imagine how cute that will look like?

I mean, we saw his music at tv shows, talentshows, dancing on ice, dancing with the stars etc., but never at the ballet!

 

And another thing, it's not interesting but whatever: Her balletteacher is a Mikafan too! How cool is that?

ahuh,another commoner is MIKAFIED.hahaha.be sure to record it and post it on youtube for us!

So you're saying that as we grow older, our eye colour lightens up? Personally that's happened to my brother...he had black eyes when he was a kid, and now, at 18 years old, his eyes are such a light hazel. And same goes for me..I had really dark eyes when I was little, now they're this really strange colour of chestnut-brown...

As for Mika..he has hazel eyes, no doubt. And dont forget, hazel tends to seem green from time to time, depending on the light intensity.

so what's the actual factor here?is is aging or light intensity?seems like both tho.when 1 was 3 and a half,i had dark eyes but when i went to australia,it turned hazel(well,not exactly hazel,it's kinda like light brown).and afterwards,it remained that colour.

I always thought his eyes were brown. In certain lights, even dark brown eyes look lighter. Eyes, by their very nature are translucent, and any coloured flecks in the iris are picked up by different lights. Our eyes are not actually, one flat colour, but various sections of different colours. But it's the colour we have the most of in our iris, that determines the colour that it looks like to other people.

But if Mika has some green and grey flecks in his eyes, they will show up in certain lights.

before this i have only been a casual fan of your music's,not minding to even know any updates of yours but ever since i watched your music videos on mtv,i started to list your music in one of my top 3 most favorite music.there's something in the songs you wrote that touched me.it's unlike any other,totally different and most importantly,all the wordings are about real life! i mean,lollipops,big girls,gays and all those stuff.those are the actual stuff you see on the streets.moreover,your music motivates me alot.it tells me to be myself and do what ever i think is right to be done,especially grace kelly.it's true,u SHOULD be nobody else but yourself.thank you for sharing this with us,and thank you for inspiring us all these while.we love you!

I agree with you! I think it is an insecurity thing. I've always been a bit of a shy person and a bit of a worrier. And what you said really makes sense.

I can control it now, but I still do tend to do the "neck thing" alot.

Hi there everyone.

There have been concerns raised recently about fans being allowed to crowd onto the stage in one, or more, of Mika's concerts in the US.

A. Clay PMd me with her concerns and we discussed them at length, then decided to contact the club moderators, to ask if Mika's team could be warned that this is a very dangerous thing to allow to happen.

Our concerns were three-fold:

 

One: Mika's safety, as no one can ensure that the only people at the concerts are genuine fans. Some people might want to hurt him.

 

Two: Concern for the other fans. They could get hurt. That would be terrible

 

Three: If any accident was to happen, Mika himself would be blamed. We did not want anything to ruin his monumental efforts to get through to the American people.

 

Sienna has informed me that the situation had, indeed come to the moderators' attentions, and that Mika's team will be made aware of our concerns about safety. It also seems that things have calmed down somewhat, and not as many people went on stage in the more recent shows. why not have a proper exclusive 'meet-the-fans' session backstage where only fans with backstage passes(at a limited number,or if possible,only for the

mfc members) can attend it?isn't it safer that way?

seriously,it's a private violation to capture someone's pic while they're at the only place they can have some privacy.these people should be arrested for such a thing regardless of who they are.
