    Horrible (!!!) performance of RELAX at the castings of DSDS (German idol)

    In today's broadcast of DSDS (Deutschland sucht den Superstar) aka the German version of American idol there was a HORRIBLE performance of Mika's hit "Relax (take it easy)".

     

    They are still in the phase of the castings, so of course there are many candidates who aren't exactly what you would call a "good singer" but this performance is far beyond good and evil!!!

     

    lol, the makers of the show were luckily aware of this fact and showed this "piece of art" in the category "song quiz"... :naughty:

     

    As I don't live in Germany at the moment I couldn't watch the show live tonight but had to wait a few more hours until the channel put it online...

    Thanks for the vid link, that interview must have somehow passed me by, but it's such a good one.

     

    He seems about 5 years old there :naughty: Def had too many blue Smarties or something. I was more drawn to old box face actually.

     

    hahaha.probably he had another game of 'chubby bunny' and that time he decided to actually swallow the marshmallows! lol.he's like soooo hyper.

    I was wondering...Mika was born in Beirut, then moved to Paris, then to London, and his father was born in USA...so, does mika have 4 nationalities?, and by consequence 4 passports?

    i'm not really sure of this,but technically he can't have 4 nationalities am i rite?guess he has a lebanese birth certificate,a nationality in either paris or london and a permanent resident pass for one of the countries he used to live in.he surely is international aint he? hehe.

    still really new at this... but is it just me, or am I the only person who hasn't met Mika? I'm exceedingly jealous and i'd love love love to meet him. how can i make this happen? also, i was just wondering about other people's experiences meeting him. :blush-anim-cl: thanks!

    Probably not. He said in an interview that he can't tell the time on a watch, even though he always wears one. So I doubt he can read the speedometer in a car. I don't know for sure of course, but I can't drive because of a problem in my brain, so maybe Mika can't either.

    I'd take him to my fav gastro-pub called Castle View. As it's name suggests it has a view across a river to Conwy Castle (see pic) which looks beautiful when it's lit up in the evening.

     

    The Pub is relax but the food is the best I have ever eaten. and the desserts are just heaven on a plate!

     

    Then I'd ask him to take a walk along the mariner, go for a little boat ride and just talk.

     

    It wouldn't be a date because I'm in love with my fella and not even the gorgeous Mika could turn m head. I might steal a little kiss tho! :wub2::blush-anim-cl:

    It was my birthday party on Friday, and I was so happy when my friends presented me with my very own MIKA style cake!!

    Yes it makes total logical sense and indeed, it is true, because his official songwriting name is Michael Holbrook Penniman and unless Mr. Penniman Senior is secretly writing Mika's songs there can be no other conclusion. This is what we've been banging on about in this thread all evening.

     

    But actually at the moment we are discussing Mika's undies. The tone always has to be lowered :naughty:

     

    i haven't gotten his album yet,will struggle to get my hands on one tho.it's pretty hard to find his album here in malaysia.it's settled then,his name's michael but we'll just call him hank..er..i mean mika :P

    I'm sure six months ago you could have seen the printings very clearly and we would have solved that mystery.

    A bit off topic but can I just say that I was so close to Mika's underwear on Tuesday I could see the label without a zoom lens? :wub2:

     

    It's so much easier to stalk him in person than labour over a bunch of unclear photos and interviews where you don't know whether he's telling the truth or taking the piss.

    Mouaha, no seriously speaking, remember, as Christine told you, Mika lies in interviews. If you believe everything he states you will end up thinking the guy has a pilot licence and wears woman's underwear... :naughty:

    He produced his songs under the name Michael H Penniman, which is a clear indication, don't u think?

     

    oh dear God! i thought he's kinda straight and naive upon my first sight of him,but it turns out the other way around! but,isn't it cool to admire a pilot who sings well and wears woman's underwear? :roftl:
