Yes its all very frustrating! It needs sorting. Ive only been to one gig in my whole life and that was Mika last year in westerpark. The coolest thing was how all the fans met each other and chatted and there was such a good atmosphere. Its crazy that we cant have that on forums also. I hope you dont think Im whining but on my last birthday 28 Dec i found out something really terrible which has completley ruined my life and my familys life. Believe me things like this are so petty and such a waste of time. So any of you planning to come to Ireland to see MIKA

Im glad you all understand where Im coming from about the Mikasounds forum. Believe me its a relief! I have contacted alexandra many times about the forum but she says mika wants to keep it secret but has always told me we will be happy and not disappointed. So I guess we just have to wait! we should be able to have both forums and all be friends and discuss Mika and have fun. Im sure its possible! I think i will post here more often now. A lot of people dont go to either forums I think because of all the rivalry but hey we can prove that it doesnt have to be that way:thumb_yello:

Yes I have to agree with you that more fans can be reached so it would make sense for mika to post here. I guess its the whole not knowing thing about the forum thats so annoying. This is all crazy really but it seems to be such an on going matter I wish it would all stop

Oh I just dont know anymore Im just sick of the whole lot. Im not jealous of anyone here on mfc. Im just glad to be a mika fan and to know him and have met him and have his music. I dont really understand why people cant just be happy! I have a lot going on in my life these days as most people do but I always can say that being part of a mika forum makes me happy. With things like this going on I dont know if I can say that anymore. Its so unfair and sad that this goes on.

Also (more blabbing) the fact is that Mikasounds forum isnt a random social club. Mika himself created it so I think he just has to inform his fans there what will be happening with it. Will it still exist????????? Who bloody knows!

Thank you for your understanding. I have never contacted perez but its true mika should really say something about all this confusion. For a long time now there has been questions about Mikasounds forum. It has been there and is the original forum but we never hear anything about its future? If notifications or competitions are posted here of course that is fine and its great! We too can come here and participate in everything. I guess the main problem with Mikasounds forum is lack of recognition or information. At present there is a lot of spam being posted there and no mod. It really is an issue that Mika needs to address. In saying that he is indeed very busy at the moment with a lot more important issues! Sorry for blabbing on im gone quite crazy with it all!

Yes thats very true! Hopefully when the new site is complete there can be a link for both forums! I have talked to mikas management in the past and the assured me that both forums would be very happy with the end result:wink2: I wonder what they mean! The suspense has been killing me ever since! I really think we all have a lot to look foward to when the new album comes out perhaps we will have a lot to enjoy on the new site.

Your welcome! Yes it really is very quiet there at the mo and probably boring but mostly we have fun there when there are more active members. Maybe all of this will finally bring peace! I really hope so.

Hi everybody Im from the mikasounds forum which does still exist but has very few members. We are all mika fans and love him very much. I respect the fact that there is another forum and so many members. Its good for mika and good that we can all come here and be a part of it also. I havent posted here much bit I was delighted to find a thread for Ireland and talked to people there who were very nice to me and welcomed me. Can I just try and explain how I feel : I joined mikasounds by finding the link on the album Life in cartoon motion. At the time I hadnt heard of Mfc as i had only just heard of Mika. I liked the forum and it has brought me a lot of happiness. Ive met some of the members and have made many friendships. I guess we sometimes feel that because we are such a small group we feel that we have been lost and forgotton. Seeing as Mika is so kind to his fans we all really do get spoiled by him with regular blogs and all sorts! we all as fans wish that we could also hear things too and recieve notifications now and then. Can you understand Im not being bitchy or jealous Im just trying to explain how as a fan I feel. Of course it would be nice to have a more active forum and have competitions and notifications. Now I just want to explin one more thing. Patricia is my best friend. I met her through Mikasounds forum. she really is a very nice person and very kind. because of her many people have got to see mika. She has offered her home to many mika fans to stay with her whenever there is a gig in holland. I know that she didnt mean for her email to appear any way insulting. Its cool that fans here get news feels like a special treat! I have nothing against that it makes us proud to be mika fans! Hope you understand what Im trying to say! Love, Lynn xx

Ok this is weird I was there we are talking about mikas gig in westerpark in july yes? We were told that mika would not be signing anything or speaking as he needed to rest his voice but that people could take as many pics as they liked!!!

Yes I dont think that someones pathetic comments insulting Mikas blogs would actually stop Mika from blogging! He wouldnt allow someone to affect him this way I doubt. I was also in Westerpark and I saw Mika and met him. Can I just ask why there was a problem with someone taking photographs?? I didnt notice who was it and what were they doing wrong???

Sorry but I think this is the most ridiculous comment I have ever read from a so called Mika fan:thumbdown: I think it is very kind of Mika to leave so many blogs for his fans. Its a great opportunity for us to get to know him more and we should be grateful instead of complain about it!! We obviously mightnt have the exact same tastes as Mika in every single thing but we can still appreciate his tastes and interests. Its always the same no matter how kind or considerate Mika is someone always complains. I read here once that people were complaining about Mikas meet and greets. Dont people ever think that he is very cosiderate to give his fans this chance to meet him?? Apparentley just because he spent some time talking to a girl in a wheelchair he was ridiculed. How pathetic and jealous is that.

Hi there!! Im from Ireland and unfortuneatley I didnt get to see Mika at the oxygen festival. I did go to see him in Amsterdam in July and I met him! However I have always been baffled as to why he didnt include Ireland in his tour. I thought he didnt like us Irish folk but no I know he really does want to come back and I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!! This is the first time that I have discovered another Irish fan online. Its crazy! This thread is a real pot of gold!
