it's a USA thing but you can vote for it wherever you're from, i nominated Mika for it, i think we should try and get him plenty of votes! ok so when we started he was on page 37, not good, so go and vote for him, let's see where we can get him!

1st edit: ok we have a problem, as the votes go up Mika will appear on different pages and i honestly don't have a clue where abouts he is, see if the search box at the top of the page will work for you! :-S

ok so there have been some goooood developments here in the Isle of Man concerning Mr Mika.

i contacted the biggest and most popular local radio station (Manx Radio) and managed to get 'Blue Eyes' as the record of the week (a few weeks ago) meaning it had to be played at least once on every DJ's show per day, and the even better news is that it got really good ratings from the listeners and the DJ's themselves!

And (as if that wasn't enough!) this weeks record of the week is 'We are Golden' fab eh?!? lots of Manx love from the Isle of Man x

i saw the vid on TMF this morning, i can't remember exactly what time, around 10:15 ish, it was on after Sweet Dreams by Beyonce, i turned it on just as her vid was finishing, totally by chance, then Mika came on, it was wicked! i couldn't believe it! so naturally i leapt round the hotel room like a lunatic, i'm staying in Coventry at the minute, can't believe Mika was in Birmingham recently, that's like 20 mins away from Coventry!!! good times :-D

hhhm i like it! true that they've positioned the 'MIKA' text in practically the exact same place as the previous album, but that's kind of cool, makes the album like a movie sequel or something! i like the artwork and the title, typical Mika really isn't it :-D x

so the video is soooooo utterly fabulous and amazing,

forgive me for being a bit slow but i've only just clicked that the guy (Jonas Akerlund) who directed the vid, is the same guy who directed the video for Paparazzi by Lady GaGa!

which leads me to this question, has anyone else seen the paparazzi video??? and what did you think?

i ruddy adore it, yes ok that's mostly because the delectable Alexander Skarsgard (aka Eric from True Blood) is in it, but it's still a v good vid.

i hope he brings Good Gone Girl out as a single, it's so catchy, you can tell it would be a real sing along tune if it was played on the radio. we know Dr John will be released, what about Blame it on the Girls? seems like another catchy one he could release, well i hope so anyways, and probably Touches You, another kind of mainstream friendly song, yay for Mika :-D x

omg i totally agree! i've always thought that Mika's fans are far more loyal and defensive than the true fans of other singers. i'm not sure if you agree but that's what i think anyways! hell if Mika is starting a cult, sign me up right now

omg i LOOOOOVE True Blood sooo much! it doesn't even come on TV in the UK until October 09 but i've already watched every available episode online, i adore it! i've gotten all of my friends addicted to it as well, it's great! i've read about four of the books so far and i have to say that my fave character has got to be Eric! luurve this thread :-D x

i've already posted about the article earlier today but i just wanted to say how much i enjoyed reading it! it was a lovely (if not a little sorrowful) insight into Mika's mind, well this is what i thought anyway. i just took the magazine into the kitchen to show my mum and asked her if she wanted to read it. when she saw me holding it she said 'so is he gay or not?' (oh dear!) and she just brought it back to me now, i asked her what she through of it and all she said was, 'he's very strange!'. haha lmao:naughty: :-) x
