No I only really like hard English cheeses - like Cheddar I don't like smelly french Brie

It would have been even more embarrassing, I think.
It's an English saying - It is usually used to refer to an alcoholic drink taken to cure a hangover -"A hair of the dog that bit you" meaning to cure something by using a small amount of whatever caused the damage. I suspect it goes back to folk remedies for things, or maybe witch's spells.

Thank you I do like muffins (but I'm not sure about being patted on the head by a youngling )
*gives you a hug and faxes you a gin and tonic* Hair of the dog to cure your hangover

I have a Nikon D3100 with a 18-55mm kit lens - it's my first one, and it was recommended for beginners. I want to get better lenses for it, so i can do wildlife and macros better, but I need to learn the basics first, and I need a job to pay for them

Poor Grandma I'm glad she's sorted and i hope she feels better soon :thumb_yello:My mum had all sorts of pills & potions to keep her going, and my dad survived a heart attack and a cancer op 5 years ago, and is now reasonably fit for nearly 90 I'm glad I live in the 21st century where these things are possible
The last album I bought was an obscure little album by some curley-headed bloke
(aka TBWTM )
I don't normally buy pop music. I have a huge collection of classical music but I don't seem to need any more
