    Hi everyone

He's a big stinky space lobster. Possibly not the most flattering thing to name myself after now that I think about it I love guinea pigs, they are so adorable but they're one of the few pets I've never had I might put it to the husband that we should get one. I always thought that my cat would eat it but I recently discovered that they grow too big for that and now I can't stop thinking about how much I want one!
  2. Well, I tried opening the link with a pair of tweezers but it appears to be soldered which is a huge pain... I'm hoping that maybe it isn't and I just couldn't open it because the tweezers weren't strong enough. I'll try it with pliers later and see if I have more luck. It is really, really getting on my nerves. I have to do something about it! Now I'm even more jealous. Signed Gud CD Lucky you lol, I have had a few reversing incidents myself. Once I reversed into metal pole in the 7-11 car park and I hit a wooden stump a few times when I was getting used to our drive way when we first moved here. Luckily, I never caused much damage. It just seems that whenever Daniel gets in the car I need to get used to a new dent or scratch or loss of paint. The upside is that at this point there are so many dents in the car that one more doesn't seem to make any difference Although... I just remembered, I did cause worse damage to my last car than he has ever done to the current one. I didn't clip the bonnet down properly and I was driving down the road, going 80km an hour and the bonnet flipped up and smashed through the windscreen It didn't seem nearly as funny at the time. lol, that is a bit naughty but I can't believe I missed Paul singing... I'll have to try and get a podcast of it or something. Ugh... I will have to skip the last few pages for now. My fabulous son just gave me a cup of "coffee". Usually that just means a cup of water. So I drank it and then realised that it was indeed water but this time it was dirty, soapy washing up water. I'm off to puke now
  3. If anyone is interested... A music shop on Ebay has the hardcover Parc Des Princes dvd ($35 + $9 postage). I bought one but there are two left. Finishes today though. Also... That means I have a copy of the standard one that I don't need. Is it ok for me to offer to give it to someone who doesn't have it? I paid full price for it so it's not like I'm ripping Mika off or anything. I don't want anything for it but I just figure someone may as well get some use out of it, no point me having two copies. So if that's ok and anyone wants it, let me know. If that's not ok... Then I'll just have a spare I guess Ha, I didn't get flowers for the baby, I got a stuffed elephant called Manfred. I usually only get flowers if he's been acting like an ass and he knows it If I ever ask for jewellery, I still get it held over my head that he bought my engagement ring and that should be enough forever Generally I prefer cheap crappy jewellery anyway so I can just buy it myself and leave the books & DVDs to him. We must be. I do that all the time. I've got drawers full of mosaic tiles from the time that I was going to start making photo frames, felt from the time I was going to make felt flower hair ties, beads from when I was going to make jewellery, books about candle and soap making.... None of it ever happened and most likely never will. That was... Um, I don't think I have any words for that actually.
  4. Oh, I should have known that! But we don't have them here so I'll stick to that as my excuse
  5. These are nice I love the first one and the last one. What's the little animal? he's cute. Sorry for the dumb question... I guess we don't have them here
  6. Speaking of hair... Any thoughts on Colin Lane's hair? Husband and I had a bit of a disagreement about it and he insists that I am a freak. He kept saying it looked stupid whereas moments before he first mentioned it I had been thinking to myself that he was looking quite nice. I would at least think that it didn't look so bad as to warrant him calling me a freak But Paul still looked better I must have fallen asleep before then . I need to learn that lying down on the couch is not a wise move What happened? I want that belt.
  7. I bought one a couple of years ago, intent on becoming a master seamstress. It didn't get turned on once because I was certain if I even tried to use it I'd end up in hospital having my hands sewn back on. Then I sold it on Ebay Well we have been together almost a decade and he's given me flowers about four times so it's pretty rare for me too I don't what got into him, jewellery and flowers are usually his least favourite things to buy. It's usually books or DVDs... Not that there is anything wrong with that Thank you Flacco I wouldn't mind, as long as he didn't take over the show. That was the problem last time with the bloody Sandman, it got to the point where it seemed like the game would go for about 3 minutes and then we had to endure 10 minutes of him impersonating that guy from the Superannuation ads. It was (slightly) funny the first time, not the hundredth. You saw Gud? *Is jealous* I've only ever seen Paul at a couple of comedy festival galas. Next year I am determined to go to one of the episodes of GNW from the comedy festival. If they do it again, which they'd better, or else Uh huh. He's always hurting my car in one way or another. A few weeks ago he reversed it into a trolley bay and before that he hit a pole when he was parking it. This would be why he is 28 and still on his L plates

    Hi everyone

Hi lol, yeah I'm getting there! Well, I wanted a Zoidberg (from Futurama) quote to go with my name but all the ones I tried were too long so I had to edit the one where he says "Friends! Help! A Guinea pig tricked me!" after he got lured into a trap that had a guinea pig as bait.
  9. Thank you! I didn't mean it to sound like I thought you were trying to hide anything, sorry if it sounded that way! I just thought that I was overlooking something that was obvious but I did know most of that so I think I was just having one of those dumb moments that you mentioned the other day Thank you for explaining again though Yes. I think he figured that out in the end because he went and bought me flowers...And more Diva jewellry. ...And then he backed my poor car into a trolley Stephen Fry makes any movie worth seeing. Except maybe Thunderpants But St. Trinnian's was good anyway.
  10. Ah, oh well. It sounds cool anyway I wouldn't even attempt to use a sewing machine. I am almost certain that I'd end up sewing my hand into whatever I was attempting to make. Well, I'm off to Subway for lunch. Catch you all later
  11. That's pretty impressive Yes, take a photo! My greatest sewing achievement would have to be sewing a button onto my pants... And I'm lucky that I even managed that. It sucks because I have this cool idea for a shirt... I want to take all my colourful old odd/holey socks, cut them up and turn them into a patchwork shirt. It probably sounds kind of weird but I actually laid them all out and it looked really good. I just have no idea how to go about making it so it will most likely forever remain just an idea.
  12. Agreed. Being able to sew must be so much fun...
  13. I voted... I hope it worked. It said: Thank you Hvala to ste ucestvovali u nasoj anketi - vas glas je zabelezen. I don't know what the bottom part means but hopefully it counted!
  14. The water droplets on the leaf look amazing. Such a pretty photo!
  15. I love that song I don't think I've met you before... So, hi. Nice to meet you
