haha! no! i wasn't meaning that he reacted that way because he was old. i know some older people who like mika a lot! that is why i included the 'someeee' lol. but agreed, it definitely just wasn't his taste of music (or music video... because he couldn't hear it)

alright... so, in the music video for 'big girl (you are beautiful)' mika puts up four fingers when he sings the part "take your girl, and multiply her by four" ... BUT has anybody noticed how he holds up his fingers? my friend and i were trying to do it as he does it... and neither of us could. our fingers just don't work that way :/ basically, he puts his pinky down and holds his other four fingers up (to make four). TRY IT. some of you may find it surprisingly difficult. :] (but fun to keep trying and trying... and trying... and trying.)

so, today i was in my drawing class and we were drawing 1-point perspective in our library at my college. our whole class was dispersed throughout the building and i happened to be sitting by myself. so, when i was finished with my drawing (quite early, might i add) i started watching mika videos on my ipod annnnnd of course, my instructor came up behind me and was like... "uh. what are you doing?" and i was just like .... "oh... hi." he kind of gave me a weird look for watching what i was watching... but HEY. someeee older folks just can't learn to appreciate wonderful wonderful WONDERFUL artists like mika. and watching his videos just bring on an entirely different meaning to his music. it makes me so happy to watch him. :]

hello everybody. i just joined yesterday... but have been a mika fan for a while now. i first heard his music in a store that i was in... and i realllllly liked his sound. so, what i do when i hear a song i like in a store or in other places is... i text myself the lyrics that i can make out and then i look it up later... and wahhla! i found mika. and fell in love. :]
