Right two minutes ago I bought a new copy of "Friends Without Name" by Clockwork Orchestra.

Don't forget that I'm not saying he will be the guest I wish he will but this show is always live and if it's already recorded, maybe it will only be Mika singing a song. I have no idea though. Let's see.

During the show "El Número 1" yesterday, the host Paula Vázquez announced that Mika was going to be at El Hormiguero again next July 4th.

Funny enough, one of my followers is the Pablo´s (the host) English teacher (Spain is small, my friends LOL) and I told him to meet next July to have some drinks, and he replied "ok for the drinks, but the show has already been recorded today!"

So, I don´t think it will be a show as the last times, where Mika was the host, but more like a performance of his song Live Your Life (basically cause the show is always live...)

Anyway, whatever it is, we´ll see it soon.

I don´t remember when I posted here on MFC for the last time. But still, I feel I belong to this forum and there have been happening things lately that made me realise how well things seem to work here, and how awfully wrong things work out there.

I have had read on Twitter, a lot of people moaning about how "controlled" this forum is. And how bad they feel posting here.

Ok, let me tell you something. I´ve been reading this forum for more than 4 years now. In THIS forum, I´ve discussed with many people about Mika´s sexuality, about his childhood, about his musicians, about his school years, about his dog, his mom, his dad, his sisters... WE HAVE TALKED HERE ABOUT EVERY-FREAKING-THING. I have agreed and disagreed with TONS of you during all these years, and never, NEVER I felt controlled.

Did everybody bow at me each time I posted? No.

Did everybody take my word as the only truth? No.

Should I feel bad for it? NO FFS! I remember being discussing something in a thread FOR AGES and finally changing my mind about the matter just because. No one bullied me here, I have never been abused or insulted here. We have moderators who take care that bullies out there can´t spread their sh*t over here. Is that a bad thing? Should we moan cause they moderate and take care that no trolls could bully or insult us? REALLY?

Dear people belonging to the real world:

You have police in your streets because it is needed. Most of us are sane people who behave and don´t hurt each other just for the sake of it. But still there are many "damaged brains" out there and that´s why some authority is needed so we can be safer.

And about other topic: "it doesn´t affect me, so I don´t care"

...

...

What if you are assaulted in the street, someone robs you and rapes you and then, you go to the police and they say: "oh... so sorry it happened to you... but since it happened to you and not TO ME I´m not moving a finger "

All these things that seem so impossible to happen in real life, DO HAPPEN in the internet, in networks which can´t be controlled.

So, if you still want to talk about Mika, to find the latest news, to chat politely with other Mika fans instead of insulting him or his fans, then, this is still the PLACE.

El cantante libanés, Mika, llegó un poco tarde al Multiusos Sánchez Paraíso pero compensó su retraso con mucha energía y positivismo.

 

 

 

Empezó el concierto con uno de sus primeros éxitos ‘Relax‘,

Erm... no. He started with EMD.

Green jeans and a friend on stage is all that Mika needs in order to perform a great show. I wasn´t sure how this gig would turn out, since festivals are always a bit chaotic and many many times, a nightmare. But this one, despite de cold and the rain, was one of the more relaxed gigs I´ve been to.

He started singing "Emily" which suddenly became "Elle Me Dit" . I think I will never get used to a beginning of the gig with any other song that is not Relax. *sigh*

The great songs were there. Also Billy Brown .

I was waiting with enthusiasm to hear Live Your Life live. The chorus is really powerful and was fantastic, but the rest of the song needs a bit of glitter IMO.

WAG was really great. Also Celebrate.

About his interactions with the crowd were as funny as ever. He admitted he had cheated on us with Italy . The speech was like:

- I have studied Spanish for 10 years, and now... I´m studying Italian... and it´s like... it´s... as if Italian came in my brain and said "you Spanish language, get out the ****ing way, I need room" And then he added: "estoy embarazado".

Oh well. This means "I´m pregnant" in Spanish. Embarrassed and embarazado are similar. This is what we call "False Friends". Instantly people from the crowd started to congratulate him and so to go on with the joke he said the mom of his baby was Lola, and if it were a boy, he would call him Alice, and if it were a girl, he would call her George.

I lost track of how many times he said "F*ck" at the gig. Really he swears way too much. LOL

Anyway. About his voice: This has been the gig where the sound was the clearest. Never in my others gigs I had heard his voice soooooooooo clearly. I have no idea why, because it wasn´t a special venue, so I can´t say why... And even if in my vids it cannot be appreciated, it was really amazing live. At a point of the gig, it seemed as if he was losing his voice. I had Liliana by my side and we agreed. He reached the highest notes with no problem, but also he asked his mic volume to be turned up twice during the gig.

Lots of eye contact during the first part of the gig, but at some point he decided to close his eyes. Maybe to not realise that it wasn´t that crowded...

I have Stardust, Live your Life and his two speeches video taped. Not sure whether to upload them or not since it´s all over the net by now, so... But if I do, I´ll post the links, of course.

Another great opportunity to meet my friends again, and another great gig. I´ve been at gigs where he seems to be in any other world, but this time he seemed to be enjoying it.

Im trying to help English people who want to know what Mika really said instead of what Mika could have said. That´s all.

We know that CL has made shoes exclusively for him, as a gift - he has told this before, I think he's a very good friend MIKA might well have bought t-shirt in US, but telling the price in pounds. I often do it myself, tell the price in N.kr. when things are bought abroad, and paid in euros, pounds or dollars. Imo, it's a natural thing for him, because he lives in UK

 

I know several very thin people who think they have ugly knees - I assume it's because the bones are more marked then - but I think it's both more natural and prettier, than having knees wrapped in flesh and fat MIKA can wear whatever, and look good:wub2: About wearing more watches at the same time, he has also told us earlier. On stage he needs comfortable clothes and shoes, because he's an acrobat!
