Great idea 

I've talked it over with Alan and we've decided to hang on and see if there is another gig. We don't want to be in London for two days. Both of us hate London really. When he announced The Roundhouse gig, I hurried and booked for it, before finding out that he was playing Manchester the next day. We booked for that aswell, but we needn't have gone to London.

So I'm waiting for another announcement and hoping it's okay. If it isn't, at least I know he's doing a gig in the UK and that's what I hoped he'd do. I'll enjoy the videos and the vibe on here.

This is why it's good to be on here. I can share everything, even if I can't actually go. As I get older, my health is getting worse, so I prefer to go somewhere that I feel confident with going to. I never feel confident in London. It actually scares the life out of me.

So my decision is to wait for another announcement.

I really hope he announces more and you are able to get to see him.

It would indeed be nice if a fan pre sale really was a fan pre sale and not open to everyone.

It really is just a general sale when the link is posted on the likes of fb for all to see. I feel sorry for any English fans who didn't get tickets and who

can't normally travel to see him.

I think all the good seats went to touts and they weren't cheap to begin with.

Yes I'm going to try for better seats at the general sale.  How annoying is that.  I've always managed to get good tickets at other artists pre sales but they only ever put pre sales on their fan club and you have to be a member for a while before you can try get them. 

Keep trying... I've just been offered 2 for the dress circle row K...

I guess it doesn't really make any difference as the link will be posted to Mika's fb also.

I do hope he announces a few more dates for England otherwise I might feel guilty gate crashing the only gig for English fans.... 

It's the type of gig I love to go to, small venue, seated... I might just have to put up with feeling guilty.

Just got an email from BST.  Not sure there's much point queuing as there are a few different entrances. 

The premium viewing areas look quite large but only seems to stretch halfway across the stage.  So general admission

also have a chance to get close.

Hi, guys! My name is Jonc (and you might know me from the drawings posted on the fanpage, or the Swatch Signing Session - or my tumblr, jencuyeh) and I'm also going to the BST - but all alone, and feeling a little bit anxious about that! Is there going to be any fan gathering, or anything? I would just love to meet some Mika fans on this festival, making this event even more amazing! 

 

Anyway, feeling also great about joining the fanclub finally - took me too many years!

I'm not sure that anyone will be queueing.  I think most of us have premium tickets and we'll get early entry with that.  

I guess we could arrange to meet up at a certain time and certain gate, but there seems to be lots of different entrances

depending which ticket you have.

I didn't explain that very well.

 

If you like the other acts, then the price is OK.  But it's a lot of money if you're only interested in seeing Mika.

It is indeed.  Particularly when you take into account accommodation and travel etc.

I look on it as not just Mika, not just a festival but also the meet up with friends, a weekend in London and a chance to see No.1.

So for me the whole package is worth it.

I think most UK fans thought it was a lot of money if you only wanted to see Mika.  Only 93 people have signed up to it on FB (including you)

But is he not worth it? 

I've just responded to the RSVD ! I have priority tickets for me and hubby! We had our honeymoon tour to London, and now, 40 years later, we return to this city, which surely has changed a lot, after all these years! Btw, I was there with my daughter in Dec. 1996 - singing Christmas songs by the Norwegian tree, at Trafalgar Square...

Do you, or anybody else, know now, when MIKA will perform ? Acc. to the tic, we can enter at 12 - but I doubt hubby is willing to stay there till late evening! I hope the weather will be good - and that it will be a huge music party, with many good artists! :fisch:Of course I'd love to see again both you, Sharon and Kath - whom I was lucky enough to meet in Montreal And also to meet, for me, "new" MFCers - that would be great! Time will show what happens next Sunday!

 

And YES, now MIKA really should announce UK dates asap!!

I have no idea what time Mika will play but presume it will be early enough as Kylie will probably be last, being the headline act.
