hi,
I just wanted to ask you about the pic in your siggie: did you drew that?!
-
Tbh, I have no idea about that lense
But I found this review: http://photo.net/equipment/canon/efs18-55/
and do you mean close-ups or macro shots Because if you really want to take macro shots, i don't think that lense will do.

so long story short: I love it. Really it's a brilliant camera. You need to get used to it though, if you come from a compact digital one without different lenses (like me) But it's really amazing. Also for making portraits. It's truly a great camera. and like I said I absolutely love it. And if you take pictures regurarly, and like really pictures pictures of environments or whatever, not just snapshots of parties or the like, than this camera is a good investment in my opinion!

pictures inside churches were always a challenge, they were dark/blurry/unsharp and now:
skies have never looked so pretty!
and close-ups! You can focus on things on the foreground, and things further away will looks blurry etc
-
Yeah sure. I don't have it for that long yet. But I'll show you some pictures I took with it first
Btw, I'm completely in love with it
a picture at night (which with my old camera would've been a blurry mess!

aaauw, I hope you get a chance to enjoy your days off anyhow and that the visa problems get solved soon!!!
Well, here in Belgium, when you go to university or college, most people go "op kot"
which means they rent a small room in a student's house, or a small studio, or in my case an appartment with my sis. Because there's only a few universities etc in belgium, so mostly it's not close to home. If I didn't do this, I would have to travel an hour by train to get to university, which is loosing crucial study time, especially when you have classes til 7pm etc. So we live there during the week, and in the weekend we go back home!

and yeees!!!
euhm, the first bands/singers that come to mind are:
Das Pop (a belgian band, the music is similar to mika's, as in "happy")
Mumford and Sons!
Adele, I'm quite obsessed with her new cd
Florence + the machine, my drawing music
I like MJ too! though not really a fan-fan, you know?! but he's got some really good songs!!

pfff yeah, the friends make it better. But unfortunately, because I failed a few classes last year, I need to retake them again this year, so I'm dividing my 3 years of a Bachelor in Engineering Science over 4 years (if everything goes well ofcourse). so I'm not doing that many classes with my friends anymore
+ my best friend has decided to change, and is now studying something else. which sucks, a lot, because he had to retake classes too! so we were partners in crime, we even discussed how we would help each other...but yeah
luckily I don't have that many classes because I'm doing it over 4 years instead of 3. so that's good.
ow wow you're having exams atm?! good luck with them!!! But I'm sur you'll do really good!
ooh yeah Damon Salvator love that guy!! and thank you
-
aaauw, your welcome ofcourse!!! you deserve it!
and think of it this way: you're not the only one studying, i am too.
only difference: you have one kickass daim cake and i don't
-
aaauw no you don't you already make me smile every day, so you don't suck at life!

see I'm a good listener, when you say go to bed, i go to bed
I can't even remember being here after midnight
how was the party?
btw, I slept awful!!! my dad got up at 6am, and he let our dog in the garden, and the dog found a mouse, who was hidden under these wooden tiles that are lying on a little step in our garden, and because the mouse was under it, he couldn't reach it, so he started barking. and my dad doesn't really has a lot to say to our dog, he never listens to him, not that my dad really tried. Problem was, our dog was barking under my window from 6am till 8am, when I got sick of it, I stormed outside, told him to stop (he listens immediately if you say it firmly) but yeah I was awake and out of my bed, so I'm tired now
