  1. Here you are :original:

    Thank you :huglove:

There was nothing new. The same story about writing his first album with a gang, the second in isolation, the writer's block, heading off to Montreal to work with Nick L.

So for us it was the same thing, but for random ppl who don't know the story it was great. He also mentioned the USA gig selling out so fast they had to add the other dates. Good also to hear Celebrate on a British radio station.

    Thanks for the summary! :flowers2:

  2. I missed out on the tickets for Mika's show in Paradiso in The Netherlands on October 27th and I would VERY much like to have one. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    Have you PM'ed Starrats? :wink2:

Got a spare ticket for October 27th in Amsterdam. :tears:

    PM me if interested.

  3. edit: oh btw, i forgot to complain about the accompanying article on the german website. can they at least get the titles of their own artist's singles right?! :aah: it's celebrate, not celebration!

I think it's even worse when Mika's official youtube channel MIKAVEVO does the same thing :sneaky2: This is written under every music video:

"Pre-Order MIKA's forthcoming album 'The Origin Of Love', featuring new single 'Celebrations', here http://bit.ly/MSOUNDS." :aah::aah::aah:

  4. But what I don't get is if you order the cd from Mikasounds.com do you get your cd the 17th of September or the 8th of October? :dunno:

+1! The answer to this question would solve all my Mika-problems. I wanna pre-order from mikasounds (they give a poster :yay::teehee:), but if I will need to wait until October 8th to get the album, then no, thanks.. I can find another place where to buy it (presumably, earlier and cheaper). :shun:

  5. I'd say he stands a great chance. Compared to THAT awful thing, Celebrate is incredibly fantastic and Origin, even better.

Don't get me wrong! I completely agree with you - Celebrate and Origin Of Love (and every other Mika song, including Blame it On The Weather :mf_rosetinted:) are an infinity times better than that Potty song, but if this is what UK radio listeners like at the moment, it's hard for me to imagine how they could like something from Mika. But like I said before, I hope I'm wrong :crossed:

  6. no, it's a new one, high in the UK charts. I heard it yesterday, too.

Here is the 'potty song' :

If this is what's on top ten in the UK at the moment, I'm afraid Mika has no chance neither with Celebrate, nor with the Origin Of Love (the song) But I hope I'm wrong and Mika's gonna be like a breath of fresh air in music industry once again :pinkbow:
