    Thanks! I feel a lot better about giving it a chance now. I almost feel like TOOL created a separation in mika fans, the ones who liked it and the ones who didn't :aah:

     

     

    That's exactly what I liked him for to begin with. His positivity was/is infectious.

    Which songs are even on licm and tbwktm?

    There are no songs on licm that I don't like but there aren't really any songs (except Relax, grace Kelly and happy ending) that I think are really great. Some makes me happy and want to dance yes, but other than that they are just songs that's on the album and I listen to when I shuffle licm. And on tbwktm I just really hate toy boy and then there som songs that are okay.

     

    If I would do my own Mika album it would be something like this (excluding npih):

     

    1. Rain

    2. Grace Kelly

    3. Relax

    4. Happy Ending

    5. I see you

    6. Lonely Alcohol

    7. By the time

    8. We are golden

    9. Elle me dit (Emily)

    10. Kick Ass

    11. Make you Happy (Miami edit)

    13. Love you when I'm drunk

    14. Tah Dah

    15. Overrated

     

    And the rest I could live without...

    To be honest, my relationship with music is far more confusing than it should be and I can't drive, so I have no idea what that must be like. What is it like to drive, anyhow? You must be as poetic as possible describing it, or else I might never be motivated to that end and I would stay shut up inside my house forever. 

     

    Well I'm not sure I can motivate you in a poetic way. I never wanted to take my driver's license but my parents forced me, and now I'm so thankful I have it. But, cars are not good for the environment so it's better not to take it and travel by train, bus our ride a bike :aah:

     

    The poetic way *sigh*.

    It's the freedom of driving where you want whenever you want. Not being trapped - You can always escape. Being in full control, making the decisions. 

    Being alone when you are not. Driving fast - seeing the landscape pass by. 

    Yelling along to your favorite song, not disturbing anyone but still being fully aware of what surrounds you.

    Feeling like you're floating, especially when you drive fast, accelerating. 

     

    And also yelling at other stupid people who can't drive!

    Thanks for bringing this up. I've been debating whether or not to add the parts of covered songs to the covers extended post. The guideline I was kind of using to decide what to add to the covers post was: songs he's done most of at least once or done parts of at least twice get added, but songs he's only done part of once just get a regular encyclopedia entry. Everyone agree?

     

     

     

    .....but if i was going to add all the partly-covered songs to the covers post too, this would be the first i'd add because it's epic & awesome :teehee:

    Well now we'll never make it past 30 :mf_rosetinted:

     

    We've discussed this a bit and we don't think there's really any reason to cut threads off at 4000 posts any longer. There really aren't that many threads that get that long, in any case. What makes more sense, is to name the threads by year. So, for example, Oldlings 2015. You can still give it a clever subtitle if you'd like. :wink2:  Dividing the threads by years like that will probably help make searching easier, too. So let me know when you start "Oldlings 2015" and I'll close the old thread. :thumb_yello:

    I was for Italy. I like so much Il Volo. I know them since one year and I listen many of their songs. They have an incredible song ! They are in the top 3, I'm happy !

    I'm angry for Belgium. They are neighbours of France, and they don't gave any points ! Liza Angell has sang very well ! We are last, as usual.

    (I dislike when politics came front of the artistic.)

    I don't understand the love for France this year. Yes she sings good, but the song is boring and not memorable at all. You have had so many better songs!

     

    I also think it's an disadvantage to be direct qualified for the final, since the song only will be sung one time and not get as much exposure as the songs that need to qualify. Most of the Eurovision songs need to be listen to at least twice before you even have the chance to remember them. Unless they stand out very much in some way.

    I get why you think the song is average, it's the animation that makes it special. If it wasn't for the jury groups Italy would have been the winner, and Sweden would have ended on a third place. It's a bit to be or not to be with the jury groups, I've read so many comments from angry Italians saying its unfair and that they should get rid of the juries. I on the other hand hink the jury groups should stay but I'm in no way impartial. :dunno:

    Hey there it's lollipop161! (new forum, had to change it lol) The girl of the "peace project" (olddd) from israel! it's been a while!

    Just came here to say that i'm happy you liked Israel's entry! I think the song is really great this time! The singer is only 16 yo btw!!

    I watch only the semi final 2, so among the songs I liked the most Cyprus, Latvia and Sweden!!

    I loved the staging for Sweden - really good special effects - but the song itself seemed ordinary :dunno:

     

    Israel's song was quite catchy

    Yeah the staging is the most important part. But I like the song, even if Måns' voice was overpowered by the music tonight :/

    Yup got him & all the others already, but those two ladies are so mysterious!Oh no i'm sorry, i don't know the Swedish alphabet :aah: Would it be better to change the Å's to A's?You're welcome btw, and thank you for your compliment.     Yeah I thought you might. The ladies on the other hand no clue...

    Don't worry, it not really that useful knowledge :aah: No I don't think so, the names are spelled with Å's and not A's so that's is how I they should be spelled in the list.

    I understand why it's necessary to categorise Åhlund and Åkerlund under A, but as a swede it makes me so uncomfortable since the letter å is normally at the very end of the swedish alphabet :aah:
