So, sorry but it's a very short report about Tuesday, I'm very busy at the moment (but I think I'll never do a report if I don't do it today):

 

We were a few fans on Tuesday, we managed to get the same place than the other days Mika seemed much more tired than the 2 first days, he was not jocking so much (ok, still jocking of course, but not so much than saturday ).

They sang again Bohemian Rhapsody (it was better this time imo) with a "choregraphy" (standing up on the chairs ).

There was a contestant that Mika wanted absolutely in his team, so he asked her what she would do if she was instead of him as a judge, then it happened that she asked him to play something on the piano, so he went and sang /played "Everybody's talking" (with a few "oh putain" at first as he couldn't remember how to play it ).

 

Cute thing, he talked about Melachi, saying that he usually wakes up with a song of Bruno Mars (??? need confirmation from someone) and that she (Melachi) loves that song, so she always says "ouhouhhhhh" (I mean like a wolf ) on this song

 

He got a few new contestants in his team, one of them is a woman singing "fado" in Portugese, so he talked about Mariza

 

can't remember anything else for the moment

 

(for the fashion addicts, he is still wearing the same blue Moshino suit)

They need to keep that part on TV

Just solved it!!! And I actually know the meaning of the answer but how could people solve that without Swatch's hint???

That was the most frustating puzzle for me so far

Yes today's puzzle was really well thought out and executed brilliantly. The image is iconic so it's not unfair of Swatch to reference it. That's why there is a window there in the first place I would have expected anyone who is a Mika fan to have at least passing familiarity with it. At least the people who are not just posting how hot he is on FB anyway.

And it's why we are in teams, our team solved the 3 puzzles throught teamwork, not one person came with the full answer (a round of for people working alone). In my opinion, the trick is to know the best ways to search for answers or ideas on the internet. For example, in the case of the first puzzle, you didn't have to recognize the location on the picture but you had to make an image search in google maps. In that case, someone could have recognised the place from the picture and would have had an advantage but since there are 10 puzzles, it should even out.

The problem is with the start at 400 beats every day

But I still find these puzzles really fun - they can be frustating but it's so much more rewarding when you find the answer

I still don't understand how they rank teams because I have got more points than some teams I see in top 10 and I am pretty sure I am not in the 10 first teams classement

 

I don't get the rule with the 50 beats ?

The points that you see is only for the first puzzle, they'll add today's points only 50 beats after today's puzzle is finished (in other words, tomorrow morning)

But therefore these discussions are missing at MFC. If there is a discussion it's mostly a "strong" one (probably because the "strong" discussions are the ones with long posts, you can't lead them at Twitter). But it's not likely that you will comment in one of them, if you are new. You first need to get to know people and maybe it's harder "to get in" these days because it's just harder to start talking?

 

I don't know if it's really one reason, just a theory and observation.

I for one will sometimes not comment in discussions when I feel everything have already been said or if I'm not adding something to the discussion, I read these discussions with great interest thought
