Just my thoughts on this ....I'm glad she writes about Mika, because she's a really popular blogger in Italy (many people love her or hate her, so it's good publicity, but , speaking as a Mika (the singer, not the showman) I don't really like she focuses on just how hot he is, how a good judge and showman he is, how is a pity for womankind that he's gay (she repeates it maaaany times), and she probably knows nothing about his music, and the same for the many girls who read her blog and comment her posts....

However if she praises him in her blog, it's always a good thing

It was my son that first said he should have released that one. I could see what he meant. It would have made the UK realise that Mika is really versatile. We on MFC all know that he is, because we get to know all the songs really well. But it would have woken up the UK to a different style of Mika song, that still is, very much, Mika.

But that's only my opinion.

Stardust would have been better, but imho Overrated would have kicked ass. It is different from other Mika songs and I think, could have been a hit in the UK.

I'm not sure about Overrated. I disliked it pretty much when I heard it for the first time. Now I think it's quite good song and it's really catchy, but I don't know if audience would like it... most of the fans love it or rather hate it. Maybe just because it's really different Mika song!

IMO T.O.O.L is absolutely amazing! (Sorry for yelling it out here lol) I think what it really lacked was the promotion and success it deserved.

Agree with you! I liked more TOOL than TBWKTM (even if there are some TBWKTM songs that I really love)

Has it been announced or mentioned in an article that Mika is mentoring the women? I was really curious about which team he'd get (and hoping he'd get the girls' team) so I really would like to know if this is true.

It isn't official yet, but this summer some people tweeted about some girls being chosen by Mika in Ireland, so I guess he has the girls team! I think this year it could be the most interesting team, we have seen many really talented girls at auditions (Violetta, Roberta, Valentina, Elena...)

Maybe someone in Italy has the same opinion as you, and is listening Mika just stumbling on TOOL on iTunes Charts, thanks to other Italian people, who have discovered and downloaded his music after that couple of hours of mediocrity.

Many fans here may dislike talent shows and this is one of them, and I totally respect your opinions , but at least there are many people who weren't interested in Mika's music at all, and now they are discovering it thanks to the show, so there is at least one good effect, imo

i also didn't fully get that, thought she said she was a real princess and this came across as "i'm superior" to the crowd, but i could be totally wrong with that. all i got was that the female judge gave her a no because she said it's important that she can get the crowd to like her, which obviously wasn't the case. think they also told her that she has good potential and should try again in the next xf episode. i'm curious about how much of my italian interpretations are correct, so i'm also looking forward to hear from someone who actually speaks italian, what this was about.

She behaved in a pretty arrogant way, she was like "I'm a professional singer, I perform onstage more often than I hang out with my friends, the stage is my real home..." , she chose a song by Chiara, last winner of Xfactor, she was too confident she would have been chosen. She wasn't a bad singer but nothing special, so the judges told her to come back next year with an humbler attitude...
