  1. I'm very happy about this concert, finally he returns to his music :wub2: and I'm also happy for the italian fans from the south of Italy that have been expecting a similar opportunity since long time :blush-anim-cl:

I'm from Turin, in the north of Italy, so I don't think I'll be able to go, especially because my parents will not give me the permission, they are too scared about Naples :aah:

  2. Thanks for finding the article Alba and thanks to Anne for translated it :huglove:

I absolutely love the article. It says exactly what I mean when I say he's not just a popstar. He's made to write music and sing, of this there is no doubt, but he's also capable of so much more.

This is why I'm not against Mika doing the kind of shows where we see the whole person. I think the beginning of the article, where the author says that they always loved Mika's music, but now they are falling for the person. This is really good, and it will translate into album sales.

I don't see Mika as feminine. He's not a butch man either. I tend to think of him as a very unique person. He has the best qualities of sensitivity and letting his emotions show, that, along with his fashion sense, are associated with women. But he also has determination and a commanding presence, associated with men. But his commanding presence is in no way threatening, because it's part of his charisma, that is associated with his humanity.

There is no one else like Mika, and I think that's what the author is trying to say

    I absolutely love the article.

I agree with all your words! :blush-anim-cl:

  3. The Voice's page on Facebook has published a contest to win an autographed poster of each judge :wub2:

    This is Mika's team poster:

From the rules it seems that only residents in France may partecipate! :mikasweat:

  4. First of all thanks for your lovely and emotional report, it brought tears in my eyes for so many reasons. I love reading reactions from new(ish) fans. You don't feel a new fan of course, you learn to know people so easily and you are so devoted and I feel you have been here for years already :wub2: However, meeting him and seeing him in RL is still new for you? I wanted to quote only parts but it was too difficult to cut it so I left it all above. Just wanted to write some thoughts.

Like that it's okay not to like all his decisions. I don't even like all my own decisions. At the time it felt the right thing to do something and afterwards I wonder if I really did the right. But in that situation/circumstances something was for the best and it brought me here/this moment so it's all good. As you say, last time XF brought you here. It brings him short-time screaming fans but people will also realize his real value and find his music and stay for new albums and tours.

Also, it's okay not to judge him even when you don't like something. He is a good person. I know that important things matter to him, that he doesn't live his life just to make money and that he is an extremely kind and generous person. Nothing can make me doubt it. And yes, I assume this time the offer they gave him was too good to turn down. In fact I really hope they pay him a LOT, because would be crazy from him not to ask a lot, he saved the last season for them, he is their star and deserves to be paid for it. And I think he enjoys fancy life style :teehee: but I don't think - for a moment - that he does his work just for money. He is not like that, not 2007 or not 2014. He loves writing music, singing, performing, creating things. I don't know if he loves guiding other people (at talent shows) but I can see he wants to do it well. He always does his work well.

I'm glad you managed to see him after the show! I believe he is still interested in meeting his fans. Most times - almost always - it's just really busy. Many times it's impossible to say anything to him and he is already on his way to the airport etc but he knows it has a meaning to people to see him those few seconds and he often stops and meets people even when tired and when we can see he would obviously love to be somewhere else. It looks he was really sick yesterday. I saw him on Saturday and he was already sick, and he did a live tv show, spent a day in studio on Sunday, traveled to Italy and did another live tv show (and many other things between) after that. He must have been exhausted.

I know it's a pain to listen to more hysterical girls screaming how handsome he is... Funny thing is that I always feel the biggest amount of love at moments when he manages to look not so perfect. Like now when he looks really tired in the photos and I just wish from the bottom of my heart that I could magically make everything easy for him. Or sometimes when he wears his granny curls and is still smiling his adorable, confident smile. I mean that man can look so HOT if he wants to but sometimes he chooses not to. And that's what makes him even more lovable. I got carried away. Just wanted to say that you stay here and you will hear beautiful music :wub2: Trust me in this.

Edit: I'm confusing days, please just ignore it. It's Friday already, can't believe it!

I love this! :wub2: You made me almost cry! :tears:

Thank you girls for the support :huglove:

The video was protected by DRM codec...so I converted the video without it and now it's on Vimeo :boing: and Dailymotion :boing:

Thanks A LOT, Lucrezia!!!! :huglove: I really enjoyed the interview :mikalove:

  5. So, I was waiting for Mika to tell it to more fans on Saturday at The Voice show but he didn't go out, so here it is:

I and another French fan are the ones who were at Metronews on Thursday.

She asked him if there would be any show in the summer.

He answered "no, not this year. Well, in winter". (translated from French)

    That's it.

I'm sorry for not letting you know before, just wanted him to tell it more officially to more people, because I didn't want to create a drama on my own :wink2:. I'm not the one who tweeted about it.

So, please, I hope everybody won't go to mention him and to ask him "whyyyyyyy?????", I'm telling it now because I know how hard it is not to know (and not to be able to plan the summer :aah:) but I respect his decision very much.

It is very disappointing of course :-(

But we will have a great album (and gigs in winter!) :wub2::thumb_yello:

    :huglove:

Thanks for the explanation, Melanie :huglove:

I'll try to be patient and waiting for a gorgeous winter tour! :thumb_yello:

  6. Thanks all for the interviews, scans, translations, etc :huglove:

I'm very excited reading Mika's words about his new album :wub2: Can't wait, it will be gorgeous, I know :mikalove:

And I'm glad that he will collaborate with Dario Fo, because for Mika it's a dream, so I'm happy for him! :blush-anim-cl:

Fantastic, there is a thing in which I and Mika are the same: we always lose Monopoly :naughty:

Very interesting the Vogue interview too! But in the past he didn't say that he prefers the blondes? Now he says brunettes :teehee:

  7. Ciao Cristina, welcome from another Cristina! :naughty::teehee:

Ti troverai benissimo qui, è un forum bellissimo e accogliente e c'è gente di tutte le età! :wink2::thumb_yello:
