    Great work Eriko! I've been able to watch some bits thanks to you :huglove:

    Emma was the best, I really hope she will have a brilliant career.

    Frankly, this show has reached whole new levels of ridiculousness and it couldn't be more evident that he doesn't belong there. Watching the last Xtra was like being tortured and losing 10 years of life in 30 minutes.

    I think it may be enough now. I hope he's done with this kind of shows for good.

    Honestly not enthusiastic about it, but I can't really judge a ten-second snippet with his voice blahing over it all along (I didn't get the last verse, couldn't he be a little quieter for heaven's sake? :teehee:). Sure it made me impatient to hear the whole of it and the album in general, though!

    Finally I got to watch it,and imo the worst performance was the one of Vivian.....it's not the first time when she's saved by some wicked kind of luck,but this time she was totally out of tune. But at least she could learn to sing,she has a voice,while Diluvio.... :aah: I understand he's very good at writing lyrics,but in this case he should become a poet..... or maybe it's just me that I'm not into this rap thing too much. Anyway,many good contestants,really good! Mario is amazing,Emma,Ilaria,Lorenzo,even Camilla,all of them are talented and original :thumb_yello:

    I honestly can't understand how Diluvio's lyrics can be considered good (of course I don't mean by you, since you're not a native Italian speaker :)). To me they just sounded really obvious, cheap and lame and... Well, bad. Emma, Mario and Lorenzo are the most talented, I think. I like the three of them also because of their songwriting skills, meaning they could potentially create something interesting out there in the Italian music scene. They all have a pretty defined music style which can appeal to different kinds of audience. Lorenzo reminds everyone of Ed Sheeran and Mario represents the traditional Italian singer songwriter, the lyricist, which has been and still is a hugely popular figure in the Italian music (Italians just can't resist that extreme "Italianity" in music and cinema). At the end of the day, though, to me the most appealing style is DEFINITELY Emma's. I hope Mika will let her show her true nature and display what she can do.

    Anyway, this show is really too long :doh:

    Hi everyone!

     

    I realize this report is extreeeemely late... Sorry for procrastinating about that :-) But I now have some time to send you my memories and pics of that amazing day!!

     

    When it was our turn (my husband was with me), we brought Mika a tiny baby shirt (I am now 4 months pregnant!!) we had made printed and which said "Youngest Mika Fan...inspired by Boom Boom Boom". The thing is, we decided to try to have a baby more or less exactly when BBB came out... So it became an inside joke as humming BBB was an invitation to make that baby :-) By sheer luck, I got pregnant that very first month so we consider him as our "Boom Boom Baby". We explained this to Mika who found it very funny and who loved the idea, and the nickname he immediately adopted! He signed the t-shirt and one of our album (also dedicating it to the "Boom Boom Baby" as he was happy to nickname it too :thumb_yello:). He also asked us whether we were going to the concert, which we were, and said it was great 'cause he really wanted to talk about that Boom Boom Baby at the concert! He also asked the girl who was helping him to remember our names!! We were over-excited :-p Unfortunately, he did not mention it at the concert but never mind, it was some great time :-)

    That's an incredibly cute story, thank you for telling us :)

    I've got to say I had a hard time going through it all until the end and couldn't keep the focus without getting distracted every 10 seconds. I thought it were just a problem with the auditions episodes but nope. Can't seem to manage to bring myself to enjoy it this year. Many contestants are good, so I guess it is just me, I just got too much of a... thing with last year's season and I become bored easily just like a kid. Sorry for the depressing comment, I don't want to spoil the mood so ignore it and HAVE FUN! :aah:

    We are already working on subtitles but we're having a hard time.

    We need some native speakers to make it good enough to be available and useful for everybody.

     

    I'm not a native speaker but I can remember a good deal of what they talked about, so if you need help with the transcription let me know. :)
