I'm not sure if someone already mentioned it in this topic but I didn't find it – a few weeks ago I was watching a BBC documentary on TV, I think it was about "animal dancers", but it has more parts... I was quite surprised that they used a lot of pop songs as background music (Coldplay, Olly Murs etc.). There was a part about some whales (? I'm not sure about the name but it was one of these really big mammals living in the sea), they were swimming ("dancing") in the sea and they played Big Girl (You Are Beautiful) quite for a long time.

I was so happy when I was watching the European Figure Skating Championships in Ostrava and realized that they are skating to Mika... However, after that the czech broadcaster commented the performance with the words "they were skating to a medley by a group called Mika", I became so angry. I immediately complained to my mum about the mistake, but I think she didn't get it.

To say it simple: his songs seem to be happy (the melody is catchy etc.), so you first don't even realize, that the lyrics are so deep and meaningful (at least I hope, I explained it right and you understand it better now)...

I found the whole album on Spotify (free), but by Salma Ya Salama there is a wrong artist, instead of Mika some Micael (apparently some brazilian singer)... But you can hear the whole song there.

I was wondering that too. I already knew the song before, but now I realized, it was released in the year I was born, so probably I haven't heard it that often and I just prefer it in English, because I can understand the lyrics...

I almost can't handle the performances we got with this third episode, so special!!!!  I especially love the covers, something new and so incredibly pretty with his voice, I almost can't believe we have these clips. I've clicked One Of Us so many times that I'm worried the page will tell me I'm not allowed to do it anymore, that I'm over my limit or something... I can't even estimate how many times I've heard it today. I saw the recording for it and knew the moment he started it will be one of my very favorite moments this season. 

I agree, the "One Of Us" cover is really amazing, I need a full version in English!

I reckon that Tuesday is not the right day for a variety show, and that the episodes are really long and last until late at night (at least it's late if you wake up at 6 a.m. 😂), but I don't think these are the real reasons of such a drop of the audience 

I agree with you, in my opinion Tuesday is not the best day for a show like this, that lasts so long and ends at night, it's almost in the middle of the working week and people are tired, they prefer to watch something shorter and uncomplicated, they just want to relax after work. Such shows are better at the weekend, when families often watch TV together.

Totally agree. I've listened to them hundreds of times. To be honest they are the covers I listen more often lately and I would add "Without Her" by Harry Nilsson. His best covers. Also the cover he did of Elton John's song "I want Love" is to die for. 

I also enjoyed his cover of "I Only Wanna Be With You", that's maybe my favorite one.

Slow Dance - Kelly Clarkson

Am I the only one, who won't miss Paula in the show? While watching the first episode, I didn't know, who she is (if she is someone famous in Italy or just a fictional character) but I didn't mind her, she was quite funny. But then in the next episodes, she became my least favorite part of the show, even though she was sometimes really funny, but somehow she made me feel uncomfortable and her voice was quite annoying for me. I can't explain it better, but she irritated me... I didn't like her part in the show.

However, I liked Sarah. She seemed familiar to me and only today I realized, that I already knew her, because she played in the serie "The Young Montalbano", I didn't recognize her, because she had slightly different hair in the serie...

Yeah, I think, I started to listen to FOB at about the same time, but I don't remember exactly any more... Do you really think, German is a nice language? I agree with you, but it suprised me a bit, because most of the people I know don't think so. Is Catalan difficult for you?
