Logged in just a few minutes ago and it's happened! 

As you can see in the picture below the notification in bold is my only new notification. 

But then I noticed a reply to the Mika Instagram, Facebook, Twitter thread so I thought I'd check it out. If you look at the time on my phone in the screen shot (top right) it's only a minute later and in the thread you can see it says 'Unread Replies'.

 Not sure what's causing this to happen.

I noticed this too! 

Missed notifications don't appear in the list, I think the next time it happens I'll have to take a screen shot, for now I guess I'll just have to keep checking as and when I log in.

I seem to be having an occasional problem, by which I mean it only happens every so often not all the time. Sometimes when I log in I'll have no new notifications, but then when I go to a thread I follow there'll be new replies in that thread and I've completely missed them because of not getting the notification! This has happened with quite a few threads I follow. I've double checked my notification settings but nothing has changed. Has this affected anyone else? 

Like I said it's only occasionally but it's still annoying!

I think we might need a Mika in Orange thread!

Oh my this is bringing back memories of the hours spent in my art class, I used to listen to We Are Golden on repeat trying my best to keep the volume down so the teacher wouldn't hear it! 😂

Maybe we should put different verses together from different people and have a sing a long!? 🤔 

We could do this through zoom if anyone's up for it. 😂

I've just read this interview now and you're absolutely right. The journalist allowed Mika to be so open and honest. Even just reading the words he seems to be talking so naturally without any force. I prefer it when he speaks freely and doesn't feel like he has to conform to demanding questions that other journalists ask. Also it's certainly interesting hearing about his upcoming projects. 3 EPs!  I hope they're released soon! 😀

Also the song does remind me of something, another song I mean, I think it's the rhythm, but I can't quite put my finger on it. I'll have to listen more, I'm sure it'll come to me 😅

I only got round to listening to this song this morning and I've listened to it a few times since then, it's certainly a surprise! 

I really like it too! I haven't heard of Pierre Lapointe before but his and Mika's voices sort of match and they sound good together. I can understand why people are calling it a holiday song but not a Christmas song (well there's no mention of Christmas in the lyrics), the bells at the beginning and end make it feel wintry. It's catchy too (with a foot tapping beat!) and rather upbeat for a break up song, a Mika influence perhaps? 🤔 it's certainly his style. I tend to like happy songs with sad lyrics anyway 😅 

 Listening to French music is really helping me understand and learn the language so I don't mind it not being in English, at least it's a song I can sing along to! 

I'd love to know who did the artwork for it. Whoever did has certainly captured Mika's handsomeness!

 In my old high school I was asked to fetch Mika's dad from teaching a class. There was a tour bus, with Mika in the driving seat, waiting outside the school for him. Mika's dad hurried off to the bus and I said I would teach the class for the last 5 minutes. No idea what was being taught, I just let the children do whatever they wanted. I remember I was wearing an all black skirt suit (which I would never wear irl), once the school bell rang I hurried out and panicked that I would be trapped in the school with all the children. I kept telling him that he didn't need to because people already loved his music and his albums were selling millions all over the world. His dad agreed with me too (don't know much about his dad actually, no idea why he was in my dream). A young girl auditioned first and she was really good, Mika then said he'd never have a good music career because other people were better than him. He decided not to audition after all. Me and his dad encouraged him to continue with his own music but I don't really remember much else after that.

Haven't had a Mika dream in a while, this one made me feel a little sad somehow.

I want a goody bag too! 😭

The designs for everything is so pretty, including Mika! 

I want that suit! I love the patches on the jacket so much 😍
