Thought I would make an update. One of the students must have thought about it over night. This was her reasoning on why she thought the Panther killed the squirrel. 1. Although the Panther loved the squirrel, he might have just been caught up in the moment, and accidentally killed his friend. 2. While watching the video, she noticed there we're 5 wolves, but the Panther had scratched 6 times, therefore the Panther scratched one more thing. 3. When the scene ends, the panther is standing looking at the squirrel, and there is a scratch going down through its body, at the very right angle that the Panthers claws could have gone through the squirrels body That is it, do with the new information as you will.

After listening to Cœur Holiday, I went onto YouTube and watched the Official Clip Music Video. The video was extremely sad, but after showing it to the kids I teach, for one of our french units that we are doing, one of them asked a question about the scene where the Panther attacks the wolves, and I still don't know the answer after 2 hours of searching. The question he asked was, "Who killed the squirrel? The wolves or the Panther?" I have not found anything on the topic, and the kids couldn't decide on an answer. Can anyone who has an answer reply, with some theories. I don't know if I can go back to my class without an answer.
