  1. I might just get Andy holding up that pot tattooed, it looks hilarious 🤣
  2. Peonies would be convenient as they’re my mom‘s favorite too haha!
  3. Oh damn it! Seems like I have to get a whole bouquet, nay a whole field of flowers tattooed! 😂
  4. Hey, maybe I‘m too stupid to find info about this, but did Mika ever reveal if he has a favorite flower, and if so, what it is? 💐
  5. Alright, guys, I just went to the venue and ask the security about queuing. This is the exact Google Maps location for where the queue is going to happen: https://maps.app.goo.gl/2hMcZD238Mn1N1sH9?g_st=ic (cf. attached photo). I also asked them about the no flag policy, and apparently, it‘s solely related to the size and the fact that large flags might have poles, that obviously would be a safety hazard. The security guard said anything A3 or smaller is fine, bigger ones, like Pride flags that you can wrap yourself in aren’t allowed. They seemed very nice though, so I think we‘re gonna be alright tomorrow. I‘m so excited 🥳
  6. Tah Dah is my jaaam omg! I would sell my soul to hear it live 😩 Other than that, out of the unlikely ones, I would also love to hear Dear Jealousy, Sanremo or Platform Ballerinas 😭 But Billy Brown would be nice!
  7. I‘ll have time to check out the venue tomorrow, and I‘ll ask them about queueing, policies and stuff, so I can let you guys know tomorrow:)
  8. I unfortunately couldn’t find the right paper, and I’ve already arrived in Bristol today. I will look for some on Tuesday, and hopefully can get some done (What I did find at my local art supply store were little plastic lollipops that I turned into earrings and a bracelet though, can‘t wait to wear them out 🍭)
  9. I’m also gonna be trying to get some paper flowers done, really cute idea btw 🫶🏻 Not sure if my local art supply store has this kind of paper, but I’m gonna come up with something, I guess haha! Also, I’m sorry if me engaging in all of this is super weird because y‘all know each other already (so I assume), and I’m new. I’m really looking forward to meeting some MFClers! ❤️
  10. Also just read the email… I was looking forward to celebrating Pride aka bringing my flag 💔 I think they’re trying to not make it political, though, so banners should be fine, hopefully 🙏🏻
  11. Hey there, sorry for my late response, but may I join if it‘s okay with everyone (I don‘t know any of you yet, so I don’t want to crash a closed group)? 🙈 I‘ll take the Mushroom Magic, in case y‘all are fine with me joining:)
  12. So excited!! I can already picture a flower-themed cover design 😍💐
  13. It‘s actually not, 'cause it has its own track on the CD (track no. 12), so that Happy Ending (including Over My Shoulder as an actual hidden track) is track no. 13 instead of being the 12th track as it says on the back cover… I’m so confused hahaha That‘s hilarious and so could’ve happened to me 😂👍🏻 Robbie Williams did it on his first couple of albums with like 30 min in between the end of the actual track and the beginning of the hidden one. Whenever I forget that the album didn’t stop playing yet, I get a heart attack when he suddenly starts singing again
  14. Oh yes, looks like that‘s the version I own! The back cover shown on that Discogs listing doesn’t include Your Sympathy either, how odd 🤔
  15. Hi everybody! I‘m not sure if this has been discussed before (if so, please direct me to the right forum thread, and I will delete this), but I’ve always wondered about the following: I own the version of LiCM that includes Erase and Your Sympathy (+ Ring Ring, and Over My Shoulder as the hidden track on Happy Ending), so the album has 13 tracks total (labeled "Japanese edition on Wikipedia). But as you can see on the back cover of that CD, Your Sympathy isn’t listed, although it‘s an actual track, not even a hidden one, number 12 to be exact! It comes right between Erase and Happy Ending. I’ve had this CD like forever, but never really noticed until recently. Does anybody know if it‘s a misprint or something? Does a correct back cover even exist? I just looked it up, but can’t seem to find it…
  16. Oh awesome, I’m used to queuing early for other artists anyway, so much so that now, it feels wrong not to do it 😂 Looking forward to meeting you and other MFC people:)
  17. Hey guys, aside from my introduction post, this is my first forum post, so I hope I found the right forum thread to ask this (if not, please redirect me and I will delete my post here): I just purchased my ticket for Bristol , but for now, I'm gonna be going completely on my own, which is nothing I haven't done before, but feels weird considering it's a festival (Like, who attends a festival on their own? Idk, feels awk xD). And since I'm new to the MFC, I'd love to meet new people, that is other Mika fans! So, I was wondering if anyone else is also attending the gig alone, would like to get into touch, and go together? Or maybe there's a small group who feels like letting me join them? Are (some of the attending) MFC members usually meeting up anyway? I'm travelling from Germany btw:) Thanks in advance for reaching out, feel free to DM me here or on my linked social media!
  18. Thanks so much everyone for the kind welcome and your offer to help! I’m slowly getting a hang of it 😊
  19. …but actually not new to being a fan of Mika! I‘m not usually a person who‘s really active in online fandoms because I get easily overwhelmed by the different "sub-groups" every fandom has on various social media, so I always stay rather silent and observe. But seeing the post where some of you lovely people handed over the yearbooks to him suddenly made me want to be a small part of this community, and how awesome is it that most of its activity seems to be revolving around this place here! My name is Sarina, I‘m 26 years old and from Germany. I’m currently in the process of graduating with a masters degree in the environmental field and taking on my doctoral position to write my PhD next year! Music is my absolute passion, and I’ve loved Mika ever since my dancing teacher from when I was around 12 years old picked his songs for our choreographies. My parents got me his first two albums, and I remember immediately picking up the art style for doodling in my textbooks at school (still in love with Yasmin‘s creations to this day!) – to the dismay of my teachers hahaha! I’m a phone person but I feel like this webpage can be best accessed via a computer, so it might take me some time to fully grasp all of this here. But thank you already for creating and maintaining this place to channel our fan love. This is fantastic! ❤️
