Recently Blue Eyes has been making me cry an unbelieveable amount. The pre-chorus always gets me.

Kind of humiliating but for the longest time I thought the lyric in Blame It On The Girls went "he`s got looks, stop books, take pages to tear" which I do realize makes absolutely no sense whatsoever but I just passed it off as Mika being Mika. I would quote it and sing it like this as well...I looked up the lyrics one day and was SHOCKED, I say! Everything finally made sense!

Success! I now technically have my own Instagram account (although it is connected to my partner`s email) so I can participate! I have a couple questions, though: 1) How exactly will the concert work? and 2) Do you have any examples of questions that could be asked for the "Getting To Know You" section?

I am not very skilled with the instruments I play, but I do sing. I am not really sure yet if I am up for preforming, but I would like to participate in the last idea!

I love all the ideas, CJ! I would like to participate, though it might be a bit more difficult considering I usually stay away from Instagam and Tik Tok. I suppose it is just a matter of me being able to convince my not-so-Mika-obsessed girlfriend to let me use her accounts for nefarious Mika purposes... 

Everything here warms my heart! I cannot wait to see him live one day.

Hello everyone! I didn`t think this really needed a thread but if anyone just happends to be in the area, there is going to be a choir festival in my hometown, Basel! It is the beinnial European Youth Choir Festival, and it will be taking place mid-May. My choir will be singing in it as well (that is mostly why I am advertising it; my choir leaders have basically turned us into walking advertisment drones...). This is nowhere near as important as a Mika gig  so no need to plan an extra long trip.

(terribly sorry about the poor quality of the photo.)

We're right in the middle of it... the first info we got about the release date of the French album was that it would be out around Christmas 2022.  And the English one early 2023. So now my hope is that we'll get the French one at some point this year and well, the English one... hopefully at some point next year? 🙈 Anyway there was an article that said Mika will play some songs of his upcoming French album at the gigs this summer (the article was about Monaco, but I suppose if it's true, it's true for all the gigs in french-speaking areas). He usually introduces some new songs at his gigs before releasing an album, so it's likely.

If only I could go to that gig in Sion! The way things are looking, I will not be able to make it. I am heartbroken and hope he has some magic idea to come to Zürich or Basel. 

I hadn`t realized that Mika has already set a release date (and that that date had come and gone...)! I suppose I will just have to ajust to "Mikasoon".

I don't know if you have come across "Mikasoon"? When Mika says "soon" it can be months (years) until it happens. 😅

I am almost like "Give us the French album IMMEDIATELY" but I will hold out . Mika is one to test my patience, though.

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this on but does anyone know if Mika is going to release anymore vinyl? I am already attempting to get the Life In Cartoon Motion and My Name Is Micheal Holbrook ones but my absolute favorite Mika album is The Boy Who Knew Too Much. I have been dreaming about a vinyl version, but I don`t believe one exists? Anyone have anything to say? If there is an official thread please point me in the right direction 

Hello everyone! As some of you already know, I am trying to organize a trip to Sion to see Mika live for the first time! That being said, I am unsure when he is going to preform since he is part of a line-up of different artists. I know the festival itself starts at 16:30, but I don`t know when Mika will get on stage or when, approximately, it will end. I would like to book train tickets, but it is proving to be a bit difficult with the lack of information. If anyone has been to a concert like this before or has any more information, it would be greatly appreciated

@Kumazzz Oh my gosh thank you so much! I have been looking for it for forever and I could not, for the life of me, find it! I couldn`t get it off my mind either, so you have no idea how happy you have made me!!

I’ve been searching for a Mika picture I saw and I can only describe it. He is standing, wearing beige slack pants, and has a white button-up on. Over that he is wearing a neon peach (that’s the best way I can describe it) sweater and a tie. If anyone can find it I would be extremely happy!

Okay, so I don`t think there is a thread about this (feel free to delete this if there is) but I am obsessed with Mika`s inability to not get on top of any piano within visual range. I have some photos but I am constantly searching for more media if anyone has any. I am appreciating this beautiful man and his dramatic flair.

I sometimes feel sorry for the pianos though....
